Kim's Recovery Part 1

Top was getting a shower and thinking about how to best treat Kim. Top had spent a lot of time talking with Kim's Professor Personality. Top was amazed at how smart Kim actually was. He now knew why Korn wanted him in his corner. Kim was capable of anything, and he realized Korn let Kim be a musician for a reason. Top was in awe of Kim. He wasn't sure if it was because he had to split himself in order to survive his upbringing or if he was just born to be a genius. As much as he wanted to explore this more, the call he got from his Pa this morning let him know that they needed Kim on their side or Chay/Ren would be lost to them and he had less than a month to do it because in 3 weeks Ren was coming to Thailand. Top hated the fact that his Pa didn't elaborate, but he did as requested. He put an add up for a temporary doctor to fill his position at the hospital. He had no idea why he needed to do that, but he was sure his Pa would give him more information as needed. He just sighed as he got out of the shower and was comforted when Khun's arms wrapped around him. "Honey, are you alright? You seem preoccupied as of late." "Baby, I am fine, just worried about things." "I am worried too. I feel like my little brother is lost to us." Top turned around and hugged Khun. "Don't cry baby, you know I am working hard to help him. These things take time." "I know, but it has been 2 months already." "I know, which is why I am extending my leave from the hospital and put an ad up to hire someone to take over my position temporarily." Khun got all excited and started jumping up and down thanking Top for taking such good care of his brother. Top leaned down and kissed him passionately and then "Baby, I need to get dressed and go see Kim. I will be home for dinner" Khun pulled Top in for another kiss which led to them making out in the shower before Top was able to get dressed.

Top walked into the studio and asked Vegas how Kim was. Vegas said that Love Die has been playing music for about 3 hours. Top just sighed. Moonshine and Kim didn't make appearances. It was usually Love Die or Professor Natakan that they got to deal with. Top felt Kim was ready to start merging his personalities back into one. He was going to start with Sunshine as he felt he would be the easiest. According to the Professor, Moonshine would be the hardest, so Top was going to work with Sunshine, Love Die, and the Professor in that order before he tackled Moonshine. If Top was truthful, Moonshine scared the shit out of him because he was all about violence and had no compassion. Top had to speak with each persona to understand what each one needed to merge back with Kim. He also needed to speak with Kim, but Moonshine was still blocking him, so that was impossible. Top walked up to Love Die and asked him if he could speak with Sunshine. Love Die just looked at him, put down the guitar and then walked over the loveseat and sat down. When Top next looked at him, he was looking at the Professor. Top sighed again, this was going to be difficult. "Professor, I need to speak with Sunshine." "You can't, Moonshine is preventing it." Top turned around and swore. He couldn't start with Moonshine. This he knew. Moonshine had to be the last to merge as he needed the others to help persuade Moonshine. Top turned around before asking "Professor, do you think I could speak with Moonshine" Top noticed right away the demeaner of Kim changed and sure enough he was looking at Moonshine. "What do you want, I don't have all day." "Moonshine, I would like to talk with your brother Sunshine. I am not going to hurt him; I just want to talk to him and get to know him. I would also like to talk with Kim." "Kim you cannot talk to, he is in too much pain, I am protecting him, but I will let you talk with Sunshine, but you are dead if you hurt him." "I promise I won't hurt him." Moonshine gave an evil look that had Top backing up a few steps but soon, Sunshine was there asking for candy and when his mom was coming home. Top handed him some candy before sitting across from him.

Top knew he had to be careful with this, so he just struck up a conversation with Sunshine. "Sunshine, how did you get your name.?" "Mommy gave it to me. She said I was a ray of sunlight during the day and the light from the moon at night." Top now knew were the twins got their names. "Tell me about your mom." "She was pretty and full of life. She left one day and never came back. Things got ugly then and Moonshine started to protect me." Top pulled out his phone and texted Vegas. "Vegas what happened to Kim's mom?" Vegas wasted no time at all answering. When Top read his reply, he looked at Vegas who threw his arms up in the air and said "What, you asked, I told you the truth." Sunshine just looked between Top and Vegas like he was curious what they were talking about. Top sent Vegas another message. "I cannot tell him that his Pa killed his mom. Seriously, what is with your family." Vegas decided not to reply to that as he was waiting to see what Top was going to tell Sunshine. "I am sure she would be here with you today if she could. I also bet that you were the last person on her mind before passed on." "Pa said mommy had an accident, so I have been waiting for her to come back." "Sunshine, your mom passed away in the accident. She won't be coming back, but always remember she loved you with everything within her being." "Moonshine told me that, but I didn't believe him." Top moved next to Sunshine as he was crying. Sunshine leaned against Top and sobbed. Vegas and Pete were just watching from the other side of the room and each of them had tears in their eyes. They had no idea what Kim has been through but watching Sunshine cry his heart out over his mom's death brought tears to their eyes. Pete whispered into Vegas's ear. "Kinn once told me that Kim didn't cry at his ma's funeral. I wonder if that is why he is crying now." Vegas leaned down and put a kiss on Petes' forehead before whispering in his ear. "Yeah, I think he is finally coming to terms with it. I don't envy Top in his job of figuring out what each part of Kim needs. Sunshine was easy, but the others, especially Moonshine will be difficult." It was a little while later when Sunshine announced that he was going now as Kim didn't him anymore. Vegas and Pete had no idea what that meant, but Top knew that he just got rid of one of Kim's personalities, now he just had Moonshine, Love Die, and Professor Natakan left. He was still holding Kim when all of sudden he got up and went over to the guitar and started playing music again. Top sighed. Love Die needed to be next, but it seemed you could only talk to him through music. Top also knew that today was a victory and that he would need to wait a couple days before he worked on Love Die. He would just watch him and see if he could figure out why Kim created Love Die.
