It has been two weeks since Chen brought those papers. Ren had to get Kim's signature and blood drops on the paperwork too. Ren knew Kim would sign it in a heartbeat. It is not like he has been kind to him. Ren kept the papers on his desk, but he hasn't visited Kim since they arrived. Aioshi told him this morning that he needed to make up his mind on whether he was going to go for it or not. Ren sat his in office all day, and finally when night fell, he picked up the papers and slowly walked down the hall towards Kim's room. He didn't want to let Kim go, but it was for the best. He couldn't find a way to salvage what they had and by now Kim probably hated him, so letting him go was the best thing all around.

Ren opened Kim's door, stepped inside, and walked over to the desk. He set the papers on the desk "Kim come over here please." Kim was shocked that he wasn't called pet and that he was asked nicely to do something. He thought maybe the Ren he fell in love with was back. "Master is there something you need?" "Don't call me master anymore. Just call me Ren." Kim got up from the bed, put the book down that he was reading, and walked over to the desk. "Ren what is it you need?" "I need you to sign this paper and drop your blood on it." "If you need my blood dropped on my signature, it must be a mafia contract, what is this one?" "This dissolves the other contract you signed and in 3 months you can go home and be Kimhan Theerapanyakul again." "I don't understand, I thought mafia contracts couldn't be broken." "The council is making an exception in this case." "I see." Ren signed his name the way Chen told him to, then sprinkled his blood over it. He then handed the pen to Kim and waited for Kim to sign it. Kim was shocked, hurt, and upset that he was just being tossed aside, but in the back of his mind, he realized that it was probably for the best, so he picked up the pen, signed his name, and pricked his finger to sprinkle his blood. Once it was done, Ren looked at him "By the signing of this, you are no longer my pet. Though for your safety, please continue to wear your collar as you can't be sent home for 3 months. I do not know why, but it is what Chen told me. You can hang out with the team until then and you don't have to fear that I will bother you as I won't." Before Kim could say anything, Ren picked up the papers and left.

Kim was numb, he couldn't believe that he was going back home. But where was his home. He never felt like his home was at the mansion and since Chay disappeared his home has been all over the world in various hotels on Tour as Wik. The only real home that he felt was a home was here with Ren. He walked back over to the bed, laid down, grabbed his pillow, and cried. Since Ren didn't close the door, Aioshi heard him crying and went to check on him. He walked in the room and sat down on the bed. "Kim, you want to tell me what is wrong?" "Ren somehow figured a way out of the contract like you said. I just signed the papers; he is sending me home in 3 months." "Did he explain why he is doing this?" "No, and he doesn't have to, I know he doesn't love me." Aioshi wanted to shoot his boss. "Kim, he has a lot going on." "I could help him if he would just talk to me." "I will let him know what you have said, thought I am sure it won't change his mind." "Thank you Aioshi, can you please let me alone and close the door on your way out." Aioshi patted Kim on the shoulders and left his room. He made sure to close the door, it at least stifled some of the crying. Aioshi went to Ren's office and found him on the floor crying into a pillow. When he went to pull Ren into his arms, he was pushed away. "I want to be alone Aioshi." Aioshi knew he was no longer the person Ren wanted to help him get through his emotions. "If you won't seek the one you need, please at least let me help you." "No, I did this to myself and therefore must deal with the consequences myself." "You have my number if you need me." Aioshi then left Ren's office and shut the door. As he walked to the team lounge, he was sad for both Kim and Ren. They loved each other so much that they caused themselves pain to keep the other safe.

In the team lounge, Aioshi told everyone that they needed to make sure Kim was taken care of, as their boss just nullified his contract. Kitchi was the first to swear followed by Akiro. Then things got serious.
