Dark Side of Chay

Grief

Porche's POV

Top and Kinn had finally gotten through to Porsche that he needs to leave the house. They were hoping he would move back into the mansion, but he wasn't ready to do that just yet. He just told them he would take a walk later, then he asked them to leave him alone. He noticed that Kinn just sighed as he walked out. He also knew he had been ignoring Kinn. He also missed the closeness with Kinn, but he felt like he was lied to and if he would not have found Chay's diaries he would have never known that Kim and Chay had a relationship as a couple. That is why he moved out of the mansion. He remembers the fight he had with Kinn that day.

A few months back....

"Kinn all I want is the truth about my brother. Why is that so hard to ask." "Porsche baby, I don't know the truth. I can't even find who killed him or how he died. The information I got from Chen double talks so much that even my top guy can't figure it out." "Kinn what happened between Kim and Chay?" "Porsche what do you mean? Nothing happened." "Fine, if you are just going to continue to lie to me, then I am moving out." "Baby, I am not lying to you. I am trying to figure it out." "No, you aren't, you are just trying to figure out a way to get Kim to come home and be Wik on the side again. All you care about is your younger brother and mine might as well not existed." "Porsche that is not being fair." "No, what is not fair is that your younger brother is alive and well and we can't even lay mine to rest because no one knows how he died, where he died, and what they did with his body. All we know is that he is dead, and your Pa had something to do with it." "Porsche, I need to go to a meeting, we will talk about this when I get home." "When you get home, I won't be here."

Back to the present.

He hated himself for not being there for Chay. He read Chay's diaries. Chay blamed him for not being with him to guide him in the relationship. Chay also blamed Kinn for turning his brother against him. After reading Chay's diaries that he found in the mansion, he found the diaries that Chay had in his room at the house, and he read those too. It was then he realized that all Chay wanted was to be with him even if they lost the house. Porsche became devastated and realized that he really did let his brother down and ultimately, he himself caused his death.

Porsche locked up the house, not that anyone would enter without permission. Kinn saw to that the moment he realized this is where Porsche was staying. There were guards everywhere. This should have made Porsche happy, but it didn't. He argued with Kinn all the time about guards since he technically was a guard himself, but Kinn insisted it was so nothing happened to him. Though at this point he wouldn't care if something did happen. He was tired of living.

He went to talk with the only people he could go to when he was conflicted. It had been a while since he went and visited, but he knew his parents would understand. He knelt down before his parents graves and cried. He just wanted his family back. He must have been there longer than expected because he heard his phone ding. He pulled it out and it was Kinn. He smiled when he saw the message. "Baby, you have been gone for a few hours, are you alright? I am worried about you." Porsche got up and sent Kinn a message back. "Yeah, just visiting my parents. How about getting us something to eat. I will be back soon." Porsche started walking back and heard someone crying. He didn't want to ease drop but since this was a private cemetery he couldn't imagine who else would be spilling their grief today.

Chan's POV

In the Theerapanyakul cemetery. Chan is standing at the stone marker for the elder Theerapanyakuls. The kids grandparents. Their grandmother passed before they could meet her, and Kim was just a baby when his grandfather passed, Chan liked them both and they both helped him adjust to being Korn's pet. In fact, grandfather even asked him to look out for his grandkids as he knew once he passed things would change.

I am sorry. I did a horrible job of watching over your grandkids. I did my best within my means. I spent a lot of time with Kinn and treated him like the son I knew I would never have. I am so sorry that I couldn't keep Kim away from Korn. I tried my best to minimize the damage done, but it wasn't enough. Kim is gone from us in a sense. For the most part everyone is alright. You would be proud of who each of them has become.

Khun is eccentric to say the least and it is all his boyfriend can do to stay one step ahead of him. Though lately he has had to step-up and attend meetings with the business partners. I was at the first meeting, and you should have seen the looks on their faces when Khun walked in wearing a boa and furry pants. Yes, you heard me, he was wearing pants with faux fur on them. The meeting went well but I think that is because Khun put his gun on the table. None of us know whether he can actually shoot but he insists on carrying the gun. Don't worry though as his boyfriend Top keeps blanks in it. Top is good for everyone as he is a Psychiatrist.

Kinn and Porsche are hurting. Both feel they let their younger brothers down. Kim rarely talks to Kinn and well since Chay has decided to become Ren and lead the yakuza, he is dead to everyone. Because of this Porsche moved out of the mansion and ignores Kinn. Kinn splits his time between the mansion and the house you gave Namphueng when she got married. I feel their pain and could help it, but I don't know how to tell Porsche that his brother is still alive because then I would have to explain why he can't come home.

Kim and Chay are together but not. Kim refuses to go by Kim anymore and he prefers to be a singer called Wik. He is a great singer, Idol, and actor, but anyone that knows Kim can tell it is just a mask he is wearing. His relationship with Chay, who now goes by Ren, is unknown. I think they worked things out, but then I have heard there have been some issues. I pray all the time that they can work it out and get together. Those two have been through so much, my heart bleeds for them.

Vegas is worn out as he and his boyfriend Pete have been overseeing everything for the most part since Kinn and Porsche don't have the time, which is another reason why Khun started attending meetings. I have to hand it to him though, he is incredibly supportive of everyone and genuinely cares. I think his boyfriend Pete has brought this out in him, that the fact that he realized he didn't have to compete with Kinn to be a part of the family.

Macau is doing well. He is attending university and also has a boyfriend. His boyfriend's name is Nao. He still misses his friend Chay, but Nao keeps him grounded. They are also trying to be supportive, but both Kinn and Vegas refuse to let him get involved in the business. They want at least one of them to have a normal life, as normal as it can be for a Theerapanyakul.

I have told you about your grandchildren. I do hope you do not blame for me not watching them better. I wish you were here to advise me on what I should do to help them. I miss the times we used to talk things over. It is in times like this that I still miss and grieve for Sanoske.

Chan continues to cry while he is on his knees in front of the stones. Unknown to him, there was someone else in the cemetery that overheard everything that was said. This person just stood in shock at what he just inadvertently heard.
