I Did Something Bad- Taylor Swift
No One POV:
In the shade of the night, he walked home alone. Leaving him with his scattered thoughts that jumped at every lurking moment. He hadn't thought too much about how everything was going to go from then on, only seething with anger.
Scarlett, aided in assisting his drunken girlfriend to a nearby car. The blonde was beyond tipsy and continued babbling about how she wanted to have just one more drink. The details of the events had been broken to the Johansson woman, leaving her in a temporary state of shock.
Nonetheless, she knew her friend needed to be alone while he processed all this new information.
It was nearing two in the morning when the celebrities made their graceful exits. The gala lights were soon cut off, leaving a new darkness to acquire the empty space. The workers filed out tiredly, ready for sleep.
Ford didn't quite know how to explain to his girlfriend what had happened. It was an attempt to keep everything secure for an invasion of her privacy. Scarlett was one if not Elizabeth's best friend, anything that was relayed to her was kept strictly private.
He kept good faith in the woman, knowing how vulnerable the actress was after explaining the situation. Cynthia, was handling everything behind the scenes for now.
The walk back to the flat was quite far from where the party took place. The soccer star didn't mind however, giving himself the space he needed to think. He was enraged, the unimaginable happened.
Puddles splashed as he stepped through them, not looking back for a second to access the damage on his rather expensive shoes. The sky was clear now, much opposite to the scene he went through hours before. The image of a terrified Elizabeth replayed in his mind, hopeless and afraid.
Following that night, he let the girl have her peace. As much as he wanted to go over and help her sort out everything, he didn't want to force her to do anything she didn't want to do.
Including pressing charges.
A few days later, everything was a blur. Ford had taken into the morning hours to himself in the living room. The once sleeping blonde that occupied the other side of the bed was awoken from a call by her manager.
Before Ford knew it, she was on a plane to pick up filming. It was early in the morning when she left, pressing a longing goodbye kiss to her lover. Florence was keen on staying by his side but this ultimately pulled them apart.
Elizabeth, sat quietly in her hotel room. It was empty, lonely even. She laid in the single bed that was stationed at the center of the room, close to the windows and the bathroom. Her friend was just next door, in case she needed her for anything.
Tossing just as she had done all night, she attempted to close her eyes for a bit of rest. But, each time she closed her eyes all she saw was the scene of the horrifying man in front of her.
A light pounding on the door woke the actress again. Her mind clouded, leaving her with a lack of sleep following the incident.
Now, days later the once bustling city of Manchester was left at ease. The crowds that populated for prime time tourist season weren't learning outside the side street of her hotel. Pubs were empty, the markets as well. It alined with the prominent situation that affected the once happy couple.
Elizabeths hands tugged the pillow into place over her ears. Hoping that she could sleep for a bit longer. It was no use though. It was followed by a second and a third set of knocks that rang into the daylight, peaking through the windows.
