The headlines made him sick. Each time he read them, he fell more into a wormhole that trapped him, swaying him to think how this was on himself. Media outlets constantly knocked on his door after the news broke.

He hadn't heard from Florence since the day she came to get her things. Which were of very few considering his sudden move. A string of curse words were rebutted towards the man as she hastily pounced out the door.

Florence had her own set of fans, naturally on the other end this was a bad look for him. He received countless threats and hateful messages. It was hard for him to ignore them when they were being thrown in his face.

His matches didn't quite seem the same after that. People would boo him, some of the Manchester fanbase. It was the sort of thing that continued to damage his reputation.

Laying low was the hardest part of the process. Not to mention each thought he had was of her. Fame didn't seem to affect her the way it had done him. She remained outspoken, cheerful, passionate.

They were both good at hiding their feelings.

This image he had for himself, for his future was slowly crumbling before his eyes. The future he was supposed to spend with her.

How could this happen to people like them? The nagging, the constant questions, the look of approval from everyone. They couldn't live normal lives, at least not anymore.

Elizabeth spent most of her days squared away in her Los Angeles home. The mortar and brick crafted around the exterior, led for an extravagant gleam for appearance. Her garden flourished, a small one she had created in the backyard.

Oftentimes, she tended to it throughout the day. Pulling the invasive weeds and unwanted necessities that were harmful to her crops in any way.

The day was sunny. Puddles crowded the sidewalk from the rain that fell overnight. The morning dew coated the plants for their nourishment, sprouting for prime growing season.

The actress arose from her bed early that morning, hoping to get an early move on the day. Her first plan of attack was to wonder and access the damage from the various critters that lingered.

Luckily, everything was unharmed and she went back to watering as normal. There wasn't much on her itinerary today, mostly hanging about the house. That seemed to be her routine everyday now, besides the ones she left to buy groceries.

She liked it, the peace and the time to allow her time on her own. Sure, it grew lonely at times but she reveled in the feeling of the stable whirlwind.

Elizabeth was blind to everything that happened the in media. Other than the times her publicist would send her critics reviews about her projects. She stopped really paying attention to things after the announcement of Ford's engagement.

She knew it was coming. From that day he told her those some months before, but she knew it would happen otherwise. She didn't want to believe it, that she had lost him for good.
