Daylight- Taylor Swift

'Happy birthday to Lizzie! Heres a special one in honor of valentines days and love, hope you enjoy!"

No One POV:

"How is it?" he questioned. Her eyes lit up once she looked back at him. His eyebrows rose in anticipation as she placed the piece of food in her mouth. The taste buds in her mouth jumped with joy upon tasting the savory dish.

The small table in the kitchen was filled with various flowers and candles that lit up the entire room. While Elizabeth had slept that afternoon, to catch up on her missed sleep from the fight, Ford ran out to grab everything for a romantic dinner.

He didn't know very much about cooking but he was willing to learn just for his girl. "This is delicious, how on earth did you make all of this while I was napping?" she wondered, placing her fork down to grab his hand.

A light blush rose onto his cheeks. She loved it, the way she made the crimson rise on his cheeks. It never got old for her as it never did for him to see her smile.

"I wanted to do something special for you, I have my ways" he brought her hand up to his mouth, brushing his lips against the back. "I love you" fell from her lips as her eyes practically melted to look at him.

'I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you'

He smiled once more, the look in his eyes let her know he felt the exact same way. They sat there a few more minutes, gazing into one another' eyes, letting the time pass without a care in the world.

"It really means a lot that you came all this way just to check on me" Ford averted his gaze, shyly. Elizabeth smiled before bringing her hand to rest on his cheek. "Don't be silly, I'd do anything in the world to support you" she leaned in to gently kiss him.

The sunset outside faded as the darkness of the night began to take over. It was getting later, after the couple did nothing and everything together just satisfied in each others arms.

A movie now played in the background as they cuddled up into one another once more. It was something that was special to them, being so close for what they knew was going to be a short time before Elizabeth had to leave again.

"I've been thinking" Ford began, breaking the actress' gaze from the tv. "So that's what all that noise is" she joked, earning a snort in reply. "Kidding, please continue" Lizzie said, turning her body to give all her attention.

"It's hard being away from you all the time. I know we're together when we can be, but sometimes it feels like we are living separate lives" the soccer star sighed. Elizabeth's brows furrowed at his words.

She wondered where this conversation might be going. She knew how she felt and she was pretty damn sure he felt the same way as her.

The brunette tilted his head back against the couch, looking up towards the ceiling. "Ford? What are you talking about?" she asked, confused. He hesitated, it was on the tip of his tongue, but out loud he thought she might rebuke the idea.

"What if I left all of this behind? I could come back to LA with you, I could take a job for UCLA's soccer program-" he cut himself off as soon as he caught her eyes. The ones that were now filled with unshed tears.

"Where is this coming from?" she questioned. Ford jolted up from his position, leaning to take her hands in his. "I've just been thinking about this whole thing. I want to be closer to you, Elizabeth. And I can't do that if we're constantly flying between countries every weekend" he rubbed his thumb over her knuckles.
