Revenge- XXXTENTACION
TW: Mention of Rape/Drug Use
(Before we get started, I just wanted to say this is a much heavier chapter than I have written before so if you feel uncomfortable or anything of that nature, please skip this!)
No One POV:
"I need to tell you something" the actress shakily whispered out. She caught the mans slightly confused gaze, itching to know what it was. He watched as her hands squeezed one another, so tight they began to turn red. Her lip caught in her teeth, scared for her next words.
"That night-" Elizabeth was soon cut off, the two women returning from the bar. "What's going on here?" Florence questioned, eyes darting between the man and woman. "Lizzie, there you are! I was worried I had gotten stood up" Scarlett chuckled in the uneasy silence.
"I was feeling sick, like I am right now" the green eyed girl mumbled. She now looked down at the decorated tablecloth, seemingly finding it more interesting than the encounter. "Do you need some air?" Scarlett asked, concerned. The older woman knew her friend didn't want to come that night.
However, she assured her that she would be at the actresses side all night, having nothing to worry about. But she couldn't blame her now for wanting to leave. After all, Scarlett stood with a drink in her hand more comfortable it seemed without Elizabeth there.
The woman nodded, frantically moving out of her chair and to the nearest exit. "I got it" Ford spoke to the girls, moving to follow after her. "Ford" Florence called after him, a bit shocked to say the least.
"It's fine I promise" he assured. Before leaving, he walked to the blonde, pressing a chaste kiss to her forehead. Florence nodded to him, watching as he left the room. She plopped down in her seat next to her former co-star. "Do you think he's leading me on?" the actress wondered aloud.
Scarlett's eyes widened at her words. She shook her head so fast, the woman looked like an unmanaged bobble head. "Of course not! Why would you ever think that Flo?" she questioned. The younger girl hummed in thought.
"Because he still loves her, I can tell" she responded. Her fingers fiddled with the rim of the class, coating her thumb with sugar. The taller woman sighed, a bit unsure of how to approach the situation. "Flo, he loves you and I haven't seen him look at anyone the way he looks at you" she reassured her.
Well, anyone since the girl who trembled in the parking lot.
Outside, rain trampled down. An occasion flash of lighting would light up the evening sky and the thunder would roar for moments. Elizabeth didn't care much though, she needed to get out of the room.
The walls seemed to be caving in, capturing her in this gaze of being a prisoner. Her hands held her head, tears seeping through her fingers. Her lips quivered, unable to control herself. The actress was so wound up she couldn't hear the approaching footsteps.
Ford flung the exit doors open, rounding the back of the building in search of the girl. He stepped into another puddle, his shoes ridden with mud as they coated the surfaces. Soon, he heard the silent sobs that were trying to be suppressed.
The man jogged towards the noise, disregarding the rain that now fell heavily from the sky. Finally, he caught eye of the actress who was sat on a curb near the dumpsters behind the momentous building.
He could see her visibly shaking, figuring from the rain that drenched her dress. "Hey" he began, striding over to the girl. His hands found her shoulder, squeezing it in affection. Another flash of lightning bolted across the sky.
