Elizabeth smirked as she saw the waves and cheering from those around her. She was seated up in the high priced boxes for extensive viewing.

This wasn't her first time coming to watch him play. When they we're together, Ford would make it his mission to retrieve the best seat in the stadium for her.

Los Angeles was ecstatic to learn that she was in attendance and made her an honorary box, courtesy of the club. Cal's then girlfriend often accompanied her on game days.

Now, she wasn't there. The actress was in wide box, drinking shooters with some of the players partners. Elizabeth wasn't one for a party, but she also never thought she was going to be caught in the middle of a PR stunt with her ex boyfriend.

She caught the eye of her "lover" as he galloped across the field. It was the first time she had seen him play since that night in Los Angeles where everything really began again.

The soccer star made an overly dramatic effort to pronounce his gratefulness for her being there that day. He fake saluted towards the woman who giggled in her seat at the gesture. 

It had been a secret joke between the two of them since Ford went as Maverick from Top Gun for halloween one year. And the girl failed terribly at her attempt of Goose with her fake mustache that fell off every two minutes.

That entire night consisted of poor dancing and salutes from across the room as their bodies moved towards one another. Ah, how they wished that night could last forever. Just to capture that moment in time.

For now, she just smiled back at him across the field. It seemed like miles apart. But it wasn't. This was really their reality now.

That they had to conform to, even after the bright lights and cameras that are constantly being shoved in your face for a great story or two.

It was only a few weeks ago when they found themselves back in the center of the spotlight, not much like it was today. But, news broke through and things got popular faster than ever.

Flashback (Last night):

He blew down the bend of the winding road. His hair scrambled as the windows came down halfway. It was his favorite car. A fixer upper that he had bought for cheap and restored it to its former glory.

The 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS was his most prized collection. He kept it hidden, but close enough to maintain its value for special occasions.

A baby blue exterior reflected the moonlight as the airport came into view. This was his way of escaping it all. The paparazzi, the press, all the nagging from people about his life and career.

Recently, he had purchased a small house outside of LA. Away from the city but close enough to Elizabeth's massive mansion. The publicists both thought it was a good idea for him to have a place while visiting.

She was flying back from Germany today. Shortly after the PR question, she just signed onto a smaller Indie project that was filming in Europe and in close proximity of Ford's schedule.
