Elizabeth and Ford sat down to dinner the next evening, alongside the actress' best friend and her husband. Elizabeth pursed her lips as she tilted the wine glass up to her lips.

Her hand fell to Ford's knee, grazing the top of it as they conversed. They wanted to remain close to one another, knowing that the actress would leave early in the morning.

The dinner was quaint. Ford suggested a fairly popular restaurant that he had gone to on occasion with his teammates and their spouses. He wasn't one for expensive foods or high class dining, but tonight he wanted to treat everyone.

After all, it had been a great week. So as soon as he found out his friends and Lizzie would be in town, he booked the first reservation at the nicest restaurant in Manchester.

"So, we both have something to tell you" Scarlett began. The couple looked at each other, exchanging looks of curiosity. "We're having a baby!" Colin announced, happily.

Lizzie gasped, standing up from her seat and ushering the couple into her arms. "Congrats, I'm so happy for you both!" she exclaimed. Ford opted for a handshake to Colin and a warm embrace to the comedians wife.

"No more traveling for a while until the baby comes but we couldn't miss your last game, Ford" Scarlett smiled. The soccer star blushed, the attention quickly shifted to him and it wasn't something he was fond on.

"Thank you both for coming, it means more than you'll ever know" he bashfully gleamed. Lizzie rubbed her hand across his back, grinning from ear to ear. "Honestly Ford, you should be up for MVP" Colin added, sipping his bourbon.

"Hey! I thought we agreed that if I can't drink, neither can you!" his wife scoffed. "I'm sorry, dearest" Colin chuckled, earning an eye roll from her.

Their interaction was light and playful. It was amusing to watch to say the least. A part of him hoped that would be him and Lizzie someday.

He glanced over at his girlfriend, only to find her staring back at him. He let his arm rest over her shoulder, pulling her closer into his embrace. "You know, I'm going to miss you" he muttered, kissing her forehead.

"I'm gonna miss you more. It's been great week but it's not our last" the girl smiled, nudging his shoulder. "Where are you off to this time?" he wondered. Lizzie glanced away in thought for a moment, trying to recall.

It was hard for him to see Elizabeth leaving again, especially when he had just gotten her back.

"New York, just for the weekend. It's my mom's birthday so all my siblings are coming into town to celebrate" she explained, her eyes lit up as she spoke about her family.

There was just something about the topic that brought her back to when she was at home. A life that would be totally different if she opted for a real estate career over acting.

It was a risk, following in her sister's footsteps. But it allowed her to break free of the nepotistic lifestyle people bashed her for. In proving that she too could be a star despite her family's name.

"I'm sure you have been missing them. You deserve the time with them" Ford nodded, listening intently to her. He loved to see her happy, even if that meant she was elsewhere.

Elizabeth reached up to intertwine her fingers with his hand as it rested just over her shoulder. She settled into him more, allowing herself to be caught up in his embrace.

"Aw, what a happy couple" Colin cooed. He reached out to wrap Scarlett in a hug, which she quickly pushed him off, knowing his teasing.

"Thank you both for coming. Truly, it means a lot" Ford thanked the couple as they left the restaurant. "Well dinner was delightful, I'll have to come back here when we shoot our next movie" Scarlett replied.
