Chapter 1

Marinette's POV:

We are in recess right now, and I'm sitting down on a bench while secretly throwing some glances at Nathaniel. I've liked him ever since middle school, but I don't know if he likes me, so I keep it a secret. After recess, it's over. We go back to class, and I sit with Alya, but I don't think she hasn't noticed my crush for the boy that sits behind me. Sometimes I daydream about having a house , and three kids may be a cat, forget the cat a hamster...?

Alya: Marinette

Marinette: Huh, what? What is it?

Alya: Girl, class ended 2 minutes ago. What were you thinking about?

Marinette: N-nothing. I was just thinking of a new design I want to create.

Alya: Oh ok well we have to get home before it rains.

Marinette: Oh shoot, I didn't bring an umbrella today.

Alya: Well, then you better hurry up.

Marinette gathered all her things and left the classroom. By the time she got to the entrance, it started raining.

Marinette: Oh, come on, now I'll have to wait for the rain to die down a little.

As Marinette waited for the rain to lighten a little so she could go home, her massive crush stood beside her.

Nathaniel: Oh hi, Marinette

Marinette: H-hi Nathaniel, you're waiting for the rain to stop as well? (Why the heck did I ask that it's obvious)

Nathaniel: Yes, I am, I see you are too

Marinette: Y-yeah

Nathaniel: S-so, how was your day?

Marinette: It was ok. How was yours?

Nathaniel: It was good, though I almost fell asleep in Mrs.Mendeleiev's class

Marinette: (chuckles) I understand her class is a bit boring, to be honest, but it is kind of interesting too.

As they talked, the rain lightened enough for both to walk home.

Marinette: Well I have to get home, I'll see you tomorrow. ( she said as she started to leave).

Nathaniel: Wait, w-would you like to go grab a coffee tomorrow after school?

Marinette: (squeals) For meal? Neal..I-I mean for real?

Nathaniel: Yeah

Marinette: I love -I mean I'd love to

Nathaniel: ok, see you tomorrow then (he says as he waves goodbye)

Marinette: See ya. Omg this is incredible! He asked me to go with him to a coffee date. This is the best day of my life!

..Next Day...

Marinette wakes up super excited. She gets dressed, brushes her teeth and hair, and goes downstairs before she leaves her house. Nathaniel writes her

Nathaniel:  Good morning. I will wait for you by the water fountain after school.

Marinette:  Ok, I'll see you there.

...after school (Sorry, im lazy at the moment 😅)

Nathaniel:  Hi Marinette

Marinette: Hi Nath, (I'll have a date by the park fountain. Can this day get any better? She thought)

Nathaniel: S-so, how was your day?

Marinette: it was great

Nathaniel: That's great, so you know I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I-I have feelings for you, Marinette, and I was hoping that maybe so did you.

Marinette blushes and looks down for a few seconds while playing with her fingers.

Marinette: I-I-I h-have feelings for you t-too

Nathaniel:  Really?

Marinette: Y-yeah, I was really scared to tell you

Nathaniel: Me too

... Time Skip...

Later, after a few dates together, Nathaniel asked Marinette to be his girlfriend, and she happily accepted. In the beginning, Nathaniel was very romantic and sweet with her, but with a few months, she started to notice he was very possessive over her friends he didn't want any boy near her to the point where he wanted her always by his side.

Marinette's POV:

In the beginning, she thought it was kinda cute that he was showing how much he loved her, but she couldn't be so wrong with months passing by she started to see his truly intentions,  at one time he did something she wouldn't have even imagine. After she arrived home that afternoon, she decided that she wouldn't let another boy do that again so the next day she got up all the courage she had and faced him. After she broke up with him she swore to not let any boy near her life after that. She wouldn't date anyone else until she was sure that he was her soul mate.
