Marinette waved goodbye as he left. But when she stared at the floor, she noticed he had dropped ... a ring?
As she picked it up, she stared with amazement at it. It was beautiful, but why did he have it? As she was lost in trance, her mother called her inside.

Sabine: Hey, honey, did Adrien leave already?

Marinette: Yes, I uh..I'm gonna head up to bed. Good night, mom.

Sabine :Good night.

As she headed to her room, she tried to figure out to whom Adrien would give that ring, too? Though she didn't want to admit it but the thought of him giving it to someone else somehow made her a bit upset.
As she was zone out thinking she didn't notice a certain black cat behind her.

Chat: Mari?

Marinette: Huh, what?

She reacted, hiding the ring.

Marinette: Oh, it's you. Wait, when did you get here?

Chay:Just now, I'm surprised you didn't attack me today, but wait... Didn't you read the message?

Marinette: I uh, no sorry, I left my phone charging in the room.

Chat:Is okay, so how was your day?

Marinette: It was good, I remembered something else today.

Chat: Oh really, that's amazing. What was it?

Marinette :It was a dinner I had with Adrien and our family together.

Chat:That's great. That means you are still making progress. That's good.

Marinette :Yeah

Chat:What's wrong?

Marinette: Chat, do you... do you know if, by any chance, Adrien was planning something before I lost my memories?

Chat:Not that you had mentioned to me, why?

Marinette: No reason, I guess I was curious.

Chat:Oh ok, well I have good news

Marinette: Really, what?

Chat:I survived when I got here

Marinette just took a second to process what he had meant before laughing

Marinette: Yeah, I can see that.

Chat:What's wrong?

Marinette: What do you mean?

Chat:I know you, Mari, what's on your mind?

Marinette just sighed

Marinette: I'm just... I think that, well...

Chat:Yes?

Marinette: I think Adrien might be lying ...

Wow, that was painful, Chat thought.

Chat: Why would you think that?

Marinette: Well, after he dropped me off, he accidentally dropped this..

She says as she shows him the ring.

Marinette: I think he might have moved on after I lost my memories of him.

Chat: But why would you think that? Did he say anything like that?

Marinette: No, but I just... I can't somehow feel like I'm upset at the thought, you know?

Chat raises an eyebrow in a funny way.
