Chapter 20

No One's POV:

It's been three days since Marinette has been at the hospital. Adrien had been talking to all his friends and family he was more than determined to help Marinette get back all her missing memories and, most of all, to get luka off their lives for good.
Those three days, Luka visited Marinette and didn't dare to leave her side. Adrien was slowly breaking apart. Those three days, Marinette didn't want to see him. Even though her parents tried to change her mind, it didn't work. So his only way to see her was at night .
After Marinette's accident, someone had mailed him a ring. When he opened it, he admired it for a few seconds before it shined and a flying cat appeared. He introduced himself as Plagg kwami of destruction. Which granted him the ability to transform into a hero. He quickly learned what he could do and not. Sense he was an adult he didn't detransformed back after using his cataclysm.
In addition, he also learned that in order to transform, he'd had to give him camembert cheese.
When night arrived for those three last days, he would jump up to the roof and watch Marinette. His heart broke to know that he couldn't do anything for now, Luka had somehow convinced her not to see her. What broke his heart the most is that they would hug, and before Luka left, he would always peck Marinette's lips before leaving.
He was slowly breaking up apart, first the accident, then she doesn't remember him at all, and to make things worse, Luka was taking his place in Marinette's and the baby's life.

After Marinette got released from the hospital, he decided to tell her parents what had happened.
So he made a plan to help her and keep her safe at the same time which they both agreed, the only condition was that only them and Adrien's parents would know of this, and when he decided to go over he would inform them so they were on the lookout that Luka wasn't around.

Adrien: Mrs and Mr. Dupain, I'm on the way.

Sabine: Good luck, honey. If you need anything, let us know.
As he jumped from roof to roof, he saw at the distance his beautiful fiance looking onto the night. As he got close, he hoped he wouldn't regret this later on. As he slowly climbed down, Marinette was startle .
Suddenly, she grabbed the broom stick that was close to her and started to hit her attacker

Marinette: Who are you, and how did you get up here

She asked as she swung her arms, hitting the poor, defenseless guy.

Chat Noir: My name is Chat Noir, please I swear I didn't mean to do any harm towards you, I promise.

Marinette looked at the poor guy and stopped hitting him, but she didn't let go of the broomstick either.

Marinette: How did you get here?

Chat Noir: Would you believe jumping through the roofs with a magic ring?

Marinette just looked at him for a second and was ready to hit him again with the broomstick until he spoke.

Chat Noir: I promise, I'm not lying, and if you like to , I can show you just please don't hit me again.

Marinette didn't know why, but she decided to trust him ...

Marinette: F...fine but do anything reckless, and you will regret it.

Chat: Ok, at least I see that you didn't forget your cute temper towards me.

Marinette: W-what did you say? You...you know me?

Chat: Know you? Princess, we have been best friends ever since senior year.

Marinette: Princess?

Chat:Yes, that's the nickname I gave you.

Marinette: B...but if you know me why didn't you visit me at the hospital? And why didn't my family didn't tell me about you and why

Chat: Okay, okay. I know you have a gazillion questions, and I promise I can answer absolutely everything if you'd allow me?

Marinette: Fine

Chat: So, you won't beat me again with a broomstick or attack me with a bucket of vanilla ice cream and a book like last time?

Marinette: I'm sorry. I don't remember any of that...

Chat:I know, now that I think about it I better not give you any more ideas or my next visit I might end up looking like a panda and when people ask I'll have to say: I accidentally scared a girl and she beat me up with a bunch of random stuff like books and broomsticks.

Marinette just blinked a few times before giggling.

Marinette: Sorry, but that might teach you not to sneak up on me.

Chat:Yeah, maybe so. What do you want to know?

Marinette: Ok, how did we meet?

Chat:It was at the first day of senior year, that night I was jumping around when I smelled the croissants and cookies and I decided to stop by and grab some, when I landed here you shriek grabbed your ice cream bucket together with the book you were reading and threw it at me. You started to throw me stuff that was out here like the teapot set that was here at the table. After a few minutes, you managed to calm down, but when we took a seat, you exploded with many questions while giving me an angry pout. I just sat here looking at you speak and how you warned me that if I ever scared you again, you'd beat me up with a bat next time. Lucky for me, you didn't bring it out with you today.

Marinette: Okay, I think we can skip the introduction then.

Chat:No worries, like I said, I can answer everything.

Marinette: Ok, so the next question is... Did you know I was pregnant?

Chat: No, that I found out the day of your accident, I was worried sick but sadly I couldn't visit you

Marinette: Why not?

Chat: With time after we met, you made me promise that I couldn't tell anyone that we are friends, you were scared that any attention would be drawn to you or your parents so we kept it a secret from almost everyone except your parents.

Marinette: Wait, so if my parents know, why wouldn't they said anything?

Chat:I'm guessing sense you were starting to recover they didn't wanted to add you more stress. But even though I couldn't visit you I watched you every night.

Marinette: I guess, so I'm guessing my boyfriend Luka doesn't know about us either?

As she waited for an answer she saw as the light in his eyes dimmed. Like if she had hurt it him in some sort of way.

Chat:He uh, Luka he-

Marinette: What is it?

Chat:Look this might be hard for you to believe but, I can promise you that I'm not lying when I tell you that...Luka isn't your boyfriend Marinette. He never was.

Marinette: But why would he lie?

Chat:Because he's been jealous ever sense ...

Marinette: Ever sense?

Chat took a deep breath and exhale as he looked at her and said.

Chat: Ever sense Adrien Agreste came in your life.

Marinette: Why would he be jealous of a guy that I didn't knew and still don't know?

Chat: Because he had feelings towards you, and after what he did that night he swore that if he couldn't have you that neither could I...him.

Marinette: I don't understand, what night? And what happened?

Chat: It all started after Adrien joined Françoise Dupont High School.
