Luka's POV:

After they left, I gather my self up and left the alley. If that blond thinks he can come and act hero, he will sure have something else coming he'll see.

As Marinette and Adrien walked to her house, she asked him to stop in front of the park of her house, and he agreed without asking.
As they sat on a bench, he decided to break the silence.

Adrien: Marinette, are you ok? Are you hurt?

Marinette: No, I'm-Im good. Thank you for helping me

Adrien: No, don't thank me. I would have done it for anyone

Marinette: I can't believe I didn't know he felt that way, I could have avoided well this...

Adrien : It is not your fault you didn't know, besides after what you went through last year-

Marinette: What do you know?

Adrien: N-n-nothing..

Marinette: Adrien, what do you know?

Adrien: Well, just that you turned a bit, um, well cold with people after you and your boyfriend broke up, just that and that I had to be patient with you so you would come around? (He said, feeling nervous)

Marinette: (sighs) Yes, I broke up with him, but no one knows why...

Adrien: Oh, well, whatever happened. I'm sorry, but I'm sure you'll find someone better than him.

Marinette: Yeah, I don't think I was destined to be loved.

Adrien: Don't say that anyone who is loved by you must consider it self very lucky to have such a wonderful and pretty girl like you by his side.
I know I would(he whispered, but she heard him and blushed slightly)
I-I-I s-said...

Marinette: It's ok. I didn't heard but I know that whatever it was, I'm sure you said it from your heart.

As Adrien looked into her eyes, he just wanted to launch at her and kiss her and tell her how much he loves her, but he managed not to do that. Instead, he just hugged her.

Adrien: Oh, I um, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to overstep. I-I-I thought y-you could use a hug. I'm really sorry I didn't me-

Marinette just hugged him back as he stood silently, wishing this could last forever. She didn't know why but after he hugged her she felt safe in his arms it was like she was...home.
Even though she didn't say anything, she didn't want to stop hugging him. All she wanted was to stay like that, and apparently, Adrien understood cause he didn't move an inch.
Sadly, nothing last forever, so she started to let go of him.

Marinette: I'm sorry I-

Adrien: It's ok, I was first to do that. We-we should probably get you home so your parents don't freak out.

Marinette: O-oh ok.

Why was she stuttering?
As they walked, suddenly there was a sound that sounded like a thunder and she quickly grabbed his hand.
Adrien looked at her, worried. He then understood that she was scared.

Adrien: It's ok. We're almost there.

Marinette: I-I-I I'm sorry, I thought it was thunder and I-

Adrien: It's ok, you don't need to say it if you don't want to. I'll hold your hand until we get there. A-are you ok with that?

Marinette just smiled as she nodded.

Marinette: Um, Adrien..

Adrien: Yes?

Marinette: I-I-I was w-wondering. Can we work on the project tomorrow?

Adrien: Yes, of course, I'll come over at the same time we've done it.

Marinette: A-actually I was thinking maybe we could do it at your house? My parents will be out tomorrow until the night, so I I thought your offered still stood and ...

Adrien was speechless he just wanted to jump up and down of joy, but he managed to contain himself.

Adrien: Yeah, that's perfectly OK. I'll let my parents know.

When they arrived, Sabine greeted them he wanted to see her for a few more minutes, so he got an idea.

Adrien: Um, is the bakery closed yet?

Marinette: Not yet, why?

Adrien: I was wondering if I could buy a couple of snacks while I go home?

Marinette: Sure, come on.

Greatest excuse he could come up with.

Marinette: So what do you want to take?

Adrien: Um, one butter croissant, one chocolate croissant, two chip and chocolate cupcakes, and a box of macaroons.

Marinette: Ok, what flavors?

Adrien: Um, I don't know. Surprise me.

Marinette: Are you sure?

Adrien: Mhm

Marinette thought for a moment, and she gathered three of Passion fruit, two of mango, three of pistachio, two of strawberry and one of coconut and another of chocolate.

Marinette: Is that ok?

Adrien: Yes definitely, how much?

Marinette: Don't worry about it, it's on the house.

Adrien: B-b-but

Marinette: No buts and no cuts, I owe you after ..well, you know

Adrien: Mari, I really insist

Sabine: What's going on?

Marinette: Adrien wants to pay, but as much as I tell him he doesn't need to, he keeps insisting.

Adrien: But I'm a customer, that's what I have to do.

Sabine: Nonsense, it's on the house

Adrien: Are you sure?

Sabine/Marinette: Yes, very sure

Adrien: Ok, thank you really, thank you.

Sabine: No problem

Adrien: Well, I'll I'll see you tomorrow Mrs, Dupain Cheng.

Sabine:Goodbye

As Marinette escorted Adrien out as he waited for his ride, he just asked.

Adrien: Marinette, I-I wanted to know are-are we friends?

((It stang writing that hhhhhhhhhh))

Marinette: Yes, of course, I should apologize to you though, I-I I was very rude with you that wasn't nice of me.

Adrien: No, it's ok. I understand you-

Marinette: No, it's not ok, I shouldn't have acted like a jerk towards you when all you were doing was being nice to me.

Adrien: You weren't a jerk Marinette you were just been yourself

Marinette: Adrien, the real me is not like that at all. I'm more different, but ever sense last year I've been afraid so, I just don't think of people's feelings just my own.

Adrien: And it's understandable

Marinette: So, you don't hate me?

Adrien: What? Of course not, on the contrary I think you're the most beautiful, sweet and kindest person I've ever met.

Marinette just looks at him, something in her just wanted to say something, anything but her mouth wouldn't open. What was happening?

Adrien:  Well, I'll see you tomorrow?

Marinette: Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow.
