Chapter 5

(Before you read, I want to point out that this chapter will have some cursing)

Luka's POV:

I can't believe him he has the audacity to fall in love with my Marinette, no that I care cause I know she won't fall for him. He's a perfect spoiled, stuck-up brat that will only break her heart at the end, and I will not allow that to happen. I know that Marinette will never like him.

Adrien's POV:

If that blueberry thinks he can keep Marinette, he must be delusional. No way in hell I'll let him the free path. After I left, I kept thinking if he would tell her about my confession.

No One's POV:

There is no way he feels like that. It's impossible he was just transferred here. Why would he feel like that towards someone that he just met? Someone that people only pity because of her past?

For the following days, Adrien was over the moon to be doing the project with Marinette. Though she didn't show any trace of emotions, he was falling more for the bluenette. His feelings were so evident that he even wondered if she had noticed.

Luka's POV:

Argh, I swear I can't stand that blond! He's always so close to my Marinette, lucky for me, she doesn't feel the same way he does, but I'm getting worried that he might be able to have a chance with her. Who am I kidding? It's Marinette I'm talking about. I'm overthinking this.

2 weeks before the project was due, Marinette decided to take a break, only if she knew things were about to take a turn .

Finally, Friday was upon the students as there were twenty minutes left of class. Luka decided to take advantage to have Marinette for himself and make a certain blond super jealous.

Luka: Hey Mari, I was wondering if you would like to walk with me to your favorite park? It has been a while since we've hung out together.

Marinette: Yeah, sure, I could use some new inspiration for my designs.

Luka: Great, say after school?

Marinette: Sure.

Adrien's POV:

He is so lucky that I have a photo shoot today, so I can't be with her, but if he thinks that intimidates me, he'll have to try harder.

No One's POV:

As school ended, each student went their own way, Luka and Marinette went to the park close to her house, which neither knew that's where Adrien's photoshoot would take place.

Once they arrive at the park, Marinette sits on a bench and starts designing to clear her head as Luka went to buy some ice cream.
Not aware of her surroundings, she failed to notice a certain blond watching her from a distance.
After a couple of minutes, Luka comes back and notices a certain blond discreetly, sending glares to him and looking at Marinette. As a response, he just smirks and sits next to the bluenette.

Marinette: Oh, hey, I didn't notice you were walking back already.

Luka: Yeah, I know that when you are concentrated, creating your space out from everything else.

Marinette: Oh, you got me ice cream, thanks, Luka.

Luka: um Mari that's why I left, I asked if you wanted ice cream, and you said yes. Did you forget?

As Marinette just looks away a bit embarrassed, Luka laughs, and she hits him with her elbow.

Marinette: Don't laugh at me, I was just...OK fine, I see what you meant.

As both teens laugh, the blond is so jealous that he just glared at the boy with blue and black hair. If looks could kill, that boy would be five meters underground right now.

As the teens kept talking about random stuff, Luka was more than decided to ask Marinette on a date only that he would disguise it.

Luka: Hey Marinette, would you like to go with me to the cinema tonight?

Marinette: Yeah, sure, it's been a while since we've gone there. But you know the rule no scary movies.

Luka: (laughs) Yeah, I know, I got the message the first time we went, and you almost broke my hand during the movie.

Marinette: Yeah, and remember, no romantic movies either...

Luka: Oh, that's too bad

Marinette: Why?

Luka: Because the movie I had planned to see kinda has that.

Marinette: Is not what I'm thinking, is it?

Luka: Maybe....

Marinette: Ok ok fine, but only because I love miraculous. Besides, I've waited for years to see it.

Luka: I know, ever sense the trailer came out you literally dreamed with the movie.

Marinette: Is not my fault. I love the show. To the point where I live everything I see in it.

Luka: Whatever you say.

As Marinette walks home, Luka gets stopped by Adrien and God. He is pissed.

Adrien: What the hell do you think you're doing?

Luka: (while smirking) What? I just invited MY Marinette to the cinema tonight.

Adrien: YOUR Marinette? You seriously are dreaming if you think you'll have her.

Luka: What? Jealous Agreste? If you really thought I was gonna back up, you really are blind. Listen, well, she doesn't have any feelings for you, and after tonight, she'll belong to me.

Adrien: She doesn't belong to you, and she never will cause I will not give up on her.

Luka: Puh-liz Agreste, understand that she won't see you as more than a friend

Adrien: Same for you...

Luka: Not for long.

Adrien: Yeah, right, keep dreaming.

Luka: Don't worry. After tonight, I won't dream.

As night time arrived, Marinette and Luka went to see the Miraculous Awakening movie . After the movie was over, Marinette was totally over the moon and also upset on how the movie ended to notice where she and Luka were going.

Marinette: I seriously can't believe this....that ending I really wanted for them to kiss! Argh, it's so irritating they had the chance to kiss twice(she whined)

Luka: (chuckles)  I know, also I'm glad I bought napkins cause you sure cried like a baby.

Marinette: Stop making fun of me. It was so sad when she declined her feelings towards him it was so sad.

As they walk into an alley, Luka decides to stop and finally do what he's been planning all day.
He takes her hand and stops her from walking outside of it.

Marinette: Luka wh-

Luka: Mari, listen, I can't hide my feelings for you anymore..

Marinette: Luka what the fuck let-

Luka covers her lips with his. As she tries to lose from his grip, someone appears pulled him away from Marinette with force as he stumbled
he saw that it was none other than Adrien Agreste.

Adrien: Listen well blueberry, stay the fuck away from Marinette or I swear to God I'll break your face!

As Adrien went to take Marinette's hand, he wondered if she would be ok with it, so he extended his hand, and she took it and walked out of there leaving Luka behind. As they walked home, none of them said a word, but deep down, just from that experience, Marinette was feeling something for the blond.

( True fact, when I saw the trailer the first time, I literally cried, and when I saw the movie, I replayed it 12 times non stop 😅))
