Chapter 23

Chat's POV:

After I landed home, I detransformed and went downstairs to have dinner with my parents.

Emily: Oh hey honey, I didn't know you were back yet. How did i- Adrien what happened to you? Did someone hurt it you? Did you accidentally hit yourself?

Adrien: (sigh) No mom, none of that, actually. By the way, Sabine sent you an apology.

Emily: For what?

Adrien: Well, you see... after I left, I went straight to the bakery. When I landed, I accidentally scared Marinette and she..well... she grabbed a broomstick and started to hit me with it. After I managed to convince her I wasn't going to hurt her, she let go of it.

Emily: Oh my poor cinnamon roll, while I do say I hope it wasn't as bad as I'm thinking God I wanna laugh. That must have been so freaking hilarious. First, she makes you lose all your senses, then she beats you at a game, and now this? Man, when you two get married, I'm telling you she will be a handful. Oh, and I definitely hope that if you, too, have girls, they will have their mothers' temper.
Oh, they will make you grow gray hair before you turn thirty. But all jokes aside, how is she?

Adrien: As I really hope that happens, she's okay. After she half beat me up, we talked for a while. She first told me what Luka had said to her, and then I told her the real truth.

Emily: D-did you told her everything?

Adrien: No, I only told her until we started dating.

Emily:And what did she say about the blue haired that you hate?

Adrien: She was upset that he lied to her, but she's okay in that part. She does feel a bit sad and upset for what she did in the hospital of kicking me out.

Emily:Aw, my poor sweetheart.

Adrien: Yeah, I know. In good news, she's making progress. She got two memories from back when we were teens.

Emily: Oh, that's amazing

Adrien: It is, by the way, mom, she might come over soon

Emily: For what?

Adrien: She said that she feels like she needs to apologize to me, and she wants to make sure I don't hate her.

Emily: But you don't hate her, you did tell her, right?

Adrien: I did, but you know she's stubborn, so I made a deal with her.

Emily: And I am pretty sure it is a deal you will lose.

Adrien: Yeah, I will, but I did it on purpose

Emily:So what did you propose to her.

Adrien: She will come home when she's ready and we will talk. If she wins the deal, then I'll be again her mannequin, though this time makeup is included.

Emily: Oh my goodness, I better have pics of you with all of that.

Adrien: You probably will.

Emily: And what happened if she were to lose?

Adrien: Well, I'd had to take her on a fun ride across Paris at night.

Emily: Well, at least you will lift that weight of her shoulders.

Adrien: Yeah

Emily: Adrien, I have a question..

Adrien: Yes?

Emily: What will happen when she recovers all her memories?

Adrien: Oh, that's an easy one. I will explain everything that happened before the accident. Then I'll marry her with no second thought, I'm tired of that blue head trying to take Marinette and my baby from me.
