Chapter 10

Luka's POV:

There is no way in hell this is happening. How can she have feelings for that blond, stuck-up brat, and not me? I've been there for her, and she just dumps me like yesterday's garbage.
But mark my words, she will be mine no matter what he does.

Marinette: I have feelings for you, Adrien, but I'm-I'm not so ready to be with someone yet.

Adrien: Is ok, I understand I-

Marinette: No, you don't I- last time I was with someone that person hurted me deeply, after that I swore that I wouldn't be with anyone until I was sure that he was my soulmate.

Adrien: Oh, ok...look, I don't know what you might have been through, but I can promise you two things.
One whatever he did, I can promise I won't do it cause you are an extraordinary girl Marinette and any guy that dare to hurt you must be an idiot and second if time is what you need, I can promise that I'll give you all the time you need and if it doesn't work out, we can just stay friends, having you in my life is more than enough even if it's just as friends what would truly kill me is if I'd do something and lost you forever.

Marinette was touched by his words they sounded so beautiful, so..true. She couldn't help but let some of her tears fall. Adrien quickly ran his thumb over her cheek and dried her tears.

Adrien: I'm sorry. I didn't make you cry I-

He suddenly got pulled onto a tight hug, which he didn't mind returning.

Marinette: I'm not crying because I'm sad. On the contrary, I'm very happy with you. The reason I let my tears fall is because your words really touched my heart. I just didn't notice until you dried them. Adrien, you are a very special person, and I'm very happy to have you, but...I'm scared I'll hurt you like I was. (She said as she let's go)

Adrien: Hey, even if it happens or not, that will happen in the future, so just focus on the present and enjoy it.

Marinette smiled as she hugged him again.

Marinette: Thank you, you always know what to say.

Adrien just smiled and held her like if she was a fragile crystal that could break easily.

Adrien: Well, as much as I'd love to stay with you here, I need to get you home, or your dad might kill me if I don't bring you home on time.

Marinette: Wait, do you have fears?

Adrien: Um, besides losing you, no, I don't think so. Why?

Marinette: (chuckled) because it sounded like you're scared of my dad

Adrien: (cratch the back of his neck) Well, d-does that count?

Marinette just giggled as they walked home.

Adrien: Wait, you won't tell him, right? If you do, he might hunt me in my dreams.

Marinette just burst it, laughing as they hold hands on their way .

As they walked inside, Tom watched the clock on the wall.

Tom: Wow, right on time, and here I thought I'd had to go and get both of you..

Adrien just got nervous

Tom: I'm kidding, so you kids had fun?

Marinette: Yes. We did the movie was really good and there will be another one I can't wait for it to come out.

Sabine: That's good honey, well I bet Adrien has to go home, sense you two have school tomorrow.

Adrien: Your mom is right. You have to go and rest. we'll see each other tomorrow, ok?

Marinette: Ok, I'll walk you to the door

Adrien: Ok then, good night Princess, I'll see you tomorrow, ok?

Marinette: Yes, I'll see you tomorrow

Adrien smiled and hugged her one last time as he parted, he kissed her cheek so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable, and her father wouldn't kill him if he was watching them, which to Marinette just smiled.

Marinette: Still scared?

Adrien: What me? I'm not scared

Marinette: Uh huh, well go home safe and say hi to your parents for me.

Adrien: Ok, I will.

Marinette: Good night, my kitty

Adrien:Good night, my princess.

As Marinette entered her home, he went home and just sighed with both relief and happiness within him. As he arrived, he wondered if her father would ever approve of him being with Marinette.

As he entered, he was greeted by his parents.

Emily/ Gabriel: Hi Adrien

Adrien: Hey

Emily: So how was your date cause based that you just got here, it tells me it went well.

Adrien: It was more than good it was perfect, we played before the movie and man that girl is competitive we played and honestly I thought I'd lose but lucky for me I didn't, then we got the snacks and sat down. We talked a little before the movie started, and after that, we accidentally touched when we reached to grab popcorn. After that I couldn't concentrate in the movie cause all I could think about was about what had happened after that we walked to her house and that the best part...I had my first kiss with Marinette, it was so magical I don't know how I'm still alive after that. We talked while I walked her home, and then we said goodbye, and I came home to be greeted by you and dad, also Marinette told me to say she said hi.

Emily:W-w-wait, you and Marinette kissed!?

Adrien: Yes

Emily: And how are you so calm? When you got paired with her, you literally were glowing with happiness, d-did she rejected you or something?

Adrien:What! No, not at all she has feelings for me, but she's not ready yet. That's all, I'll give her time.

Emily: Aw, our son is mature

Gabriel: I can't believe it, he's calm you know what this can't be my son, he should be exploring with stars and fireworks I'm surprised

Adrien: I guess I just figured why act crazy ?

Emily: Wow, I have no words.

Gabriel: Well, we are glad everything worked out, but now you have to rest cause you have school tomorrow.

Adrien: Ok, good night

Emily/ Gabriel: Good night.

And with that, Adrien felt asleep thinking of his princess and what tomorrow would bring, as for Marinette she was in the same path she felt asleep thinking on the blond that had somehow stolen her heart.
