Marinette's POV:

After Adrien left, I kept working on the project but as much as I tried I couldn't get his words off my head, why would he say that to me if he doesn't know me?

Adrien's POV:

On the ride home I was wondering if I had screw up by saying that to Marinette, is only my first day and I'm already giving her compliments. Who knows if by one month I'll be declaring my love for her.
What the heck am I thinking? But it doesn't hurt to think that.

Adrien: Good Morning

Emily and Gabriel: Good Morning Adrien

Adrien: So, I need a little favor

Emily: What is it?

Gabriel: (whisper to himself) I bet us about the girl he likes

Adrien: s-so you know that I'm partnered with Mari for our project and yesterday I went to her house...

Emily: yes honey we know you practically were glowing yesterday

Adrien: yeah I'll ignore that, any way I was thinking that maybe possibly if you are ok with it canshecomeovertoday?

Emily: what did you said honey? I didn't understood

Gabriel: (chuckles) he said if it's ok with us if Marinette can come over today...

Emily: How did you understood that?

Gabriel: Same thing I did when I asked my parents to let you come over for dinner.

Emily: ok, make sense...as for your question Adrien I think we are fine with it, but...

Adrien: But?

Emily: don't you think you need her to agree first?

Adrien: Yikes I didn't thought about that, I wonder if she'll accept after what I said yesterday? (He wondered out loud)

Emily and Gabriel: what did you told her?

Adrien: N-n-nothing!

Emily: common Adrien I want to know...

Adrien: (sighs) fine I told her that I thought she was kind and also beautiful.

As his parents stare at him he wondered if she was upset because of it.

Adrien: well anyway I gotta go, I'll see you after school.

Gabriel: I hope he success at it. That girl sounds like a tough one

Emily: he will I'm sure of it.

....skip to school at the classroom...

Adrien entered the classroom only to see that Marinette was sitting alone so while the school bell rang he decided to sit next to her and ask her.

Adrien: Good Morning Marinette

She looks at him but doesn't respond.

Adrien:L-listen , I-I I'm sorry if I made you upset about my compliments towards you I swear that wasn't my intention at all, I promise.

Marinette: (sighs and raises her head) You didn't made me feel upset.

Adrien sighed with relief as he heard her say that.

Adrien: any way listen um, I w-was thinking that sense yesterday we worked at your house m-maybe w-we could today w-work on the project at m-my house?

She looked at him directly in his eyes and he got a bit scared and swallowed hard, was she going to snap at him yell at him? Instead, she just look down and said...

Marinette: Maybe tomorrow, I have plans for today.

Adrien: Oh ok no worries

Marinette: why would there be worries?

Adrien: N-no that's not- I mean l-let me know when you can come over?

He was so nervous it came out more as a question than an invite.

As he was starting to get up the bell rang and Luka came in and saw them together and his brain did a flip why was that rich blond sitting at his seat with her?
As Adrien past by him he glared at the blond and took his seat and greet it his crush.

Luka: Hi good morning Marinette

Marinette: Good Morning Luka.

Luka: Was he bothering you?

Marinette: No he was just asking me something

Luka: Oh ok, anyway I'm planning on going skating after school you wanna come?

Marinette: sorry Luka but I already got plans with Alya.

Luka : Oh ok.

All the students were happy the classes had ended, except Adrien who wished classes would last all weekend that way he could be close to the bluenette. As Adrien exited the school Luka stopped him.

Luka: Can we talk?

Adrien: Uh, yeah sure...what is it?

Luka: Why are you so interested in Marinette? You don't know her and you've only been here for two days...

Adrien: I like Marinette she's a good person and I want to be her friend, why are you bothered about what I feel towards her?

Luka: Listen well blondie, Marinette has me and she doesn't want to be your friend.

Adrien: How? Did she told you that? Or is it that you are just saying that so I'll back up away from her because you also have a crush on her?

Luka: (widden his eyes) How do you know?

Adrien: It's pretty simple, you look at her the way I look at her, you are bothered by my presence since yesterday, and I saw how upset you were when you knew I would be with her for a month.

Luka: Fine , but little advice stay away from her, she already suffered and I don't want anyone to break her heart that way again, and I have the feeling you will do just that.

Adrien: Don't worry blueberry I would never do such a thing, I love her and if I have to jump from a building to show my love for her I would do it with out thinking it twice.

Adrien started to walk away as he said loud enough for Luka to hear...

Adrien: Oh , and don't worry I won't tell her about your crush on her, but don't expect me to back out while you have her because that will only happen when I give up, and trust me when I say that I always will fight for her.

And with that Adrien walk to his car and left.
