Chapter 14

(Hello dear readers, before you start, I'd like to point out that this chapter is shorter than the others.)

Adrien's POV:

Well, at least I'll live. I was so freaked out that I thought for a second that I would pee on my pants due to my nervousness. Marinette's dad really scared the soul out of my body.

When it was time to say goodbye, Marinette accompanied me to the entrance.

Adrien: W-well, at least, it went better than I expected. Don't tell him, but for a second, I thought I'd faint on your couch.

Marinette: ( chuckles) Yeah, I saw, I'm sorry about that, but after what happened last time, let's say he became my guard in shining armor. Ever since he's been very protective of me.

Adrien:Yeah, I can see that. Well.. he was right in something, tho. I never really invited you to a date.

Marinette: Oh, no, Adrien, he was just kidding. Besides, this was our second date.

Adrien: Yes, true, but it will be our first after your dad's approval.

Marinette just giggled at the blond's feature face.

Adrien: So this is what I'll do. (He says as he clears his throat and gets on one knee)

Adrien: Marinette Dupain Cheng, princess of my heart and lady of my life, would you like to go on a date with me?

Marinette just blinked as she stared at her boyfriend. She then started to laugh and he thought, why was she laughing?

Adrien: What's so funny?

Marinette: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, you are just so cute, you know.

Adrien: I'm serious, w-would you like to go out with me? (He asked again, feeling like she was gonna deny)

Marinette just got down and pecked his lips as she hugged him.

Marinette: Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you, my love.

Adrien just smiles as he hugs her as well.

Tom: If you are planning on having kids, let me know so I can leave you too alone from now on. ( he teased)

Marinette: D-dad!

Tom: What? He will be my son in law when you get married and how things are going. I won't be surprised if you were to get married right now.

Adrien and Marinette just looked at each other, chuckling.

Adrien: W-well, you know, is not a bad idea. If I marry you now, I'll have you all to myself.

Marinette: A-Adrien...

Adrien: (chuckle) I'm kidding, princess

Marinette: Well, you better

Adrien: And..what if I'm not-

Marinette: Listen, here Agreste, choose your next words carefully before I change my mind and dumb you.

Adrien just chuckled at her reaction.

Adrien: Don't worry, we still have time for all that.
For now, I have something very important to do.

Marinette: What's that?

Adrien: Oh, you'll see.

Marinette: Adrien Agreste...

Adrien: Yes, my dear princess?

Marinette: What are you planning?

Adrien: That's a surprise.

Marinette: I hate surprises..

Adrien: Mhm, of course you do (he said sarcastically)
Well I have to go now, I'll see you later, my dear cupcake.

Marinette: Really, Adrien?

Adrien: Yeah, cupcake is adorable

Marinette: (sighs) fine.

As the teens said goodbye, Marinette went to have a serious conversation with her parents while Adrien just walked home with a smile on his face.

Marinette: Mom, Dad, could I talk to you both?

Sabine: Yeah sure honey what's up?

Marinette just sighed

Marinette: I'm going to say this just one and don't take it too hard, but I'd really appreciate it if you don't say anything embarrassing while Adrien is around.

Sabine: What do you mean?

Tom: She means me, when they were outside I made a joke and she turned red as a strawberry

Sabine: What did you say? (She said with a raise brow)

Tom: I just joked saying that if they were planning on having kids that I would leave then alone from now on and that he's gonna be my son in law soon, that's all.

Sabine: Oh, Tom, they still kids.

Tom:I was just joking

Marinette: Mhm, well, can you please just not say anything like that? I almost die of embarrassment . Adrien was no help, either.

Tom:Why?

Marinette: He joked around, but I know he meant it, and he actually agrees with you, dad.

Sabine and Tom just chuckled while their daughter had an embarrassing breakdown.

Marinette: You may think it is funny, but we are still teens.

Tom: So after 18?

Marinette just wideen her eyes.

Marinette: No! No talking about this nowhere, and never.

Sabine: Ok, if you say so....

Marinette: Thank you for listening, I have to go now. I have some homework.

After Marinette has left.

Sabine: We will still embarrass her, right?

Tom: Oh ,yes, but only once a while.

Sabine: Ok, deal.
