Are We Sure?

As a child we look up to the people around us, influencing our lives with their beliefs and knowledge about the society that we all live in. these things make up for what we believe in and how we view ourselves as a part of the society that we all live in, well not up to a certain point where we start questioning ourselves and realising that thing may not be right for us. Growing up, Lauren has always envisioned her future with a family of her own, having her own happily every after with the person that she loves, just like how she watched her parents growing up.

As years go by, Lauren growing up, different social groups, views and opinions in schools, and her own group of friends made Lauren question herself if she is still in the right path to the future that she wants for herself. Joining a singing competition, X Factor and becoming a part of an all girl group, Fifth Harmony, have impacted Lauren's life for both the good and the bad. Social media said are now blowing up and scattering informations about the young girl and her fellow band members and as the years go by and the five girls growing up around one another, these things in the media have gotten out of control and have made at least one of the girls miserable at least once in their experience being in the band. Assumptions and delusional theories have been made up for the past three years of being in a band but mostly targeted two people, Lauren and her fellow band member, Camila.

The light haired girl is younger than Lauren and ever since their first interaction at the stadium, they have clicked instantly and fans have started to follow their journey to the top. Having successfully finished the competition in third place and landing a recording deal on one of the well-known company, this band surely has their dreams becoming into a reality in a blink of an eye.

But all of that access to the famous world and industry has to have its own catch or side effect, right? A catch that could go on for god knows how long for.

"They're at it again." Lauren groaned and threw her phones across the bed, having looked at too many comments on her Twitter about their wild night night last night.

"What are they saying?" Dinah asked, a fellow band member of Lauren and Camila.

"The hot drunk couple." Lauren replied, air quoting the entire statement to exaggerate the tweet before running her fingers through her hair.

"Why don't you just admit it already?" Dinah asked, "I mean you two have basically done things in the past before so why not make it official?" She continued.

Lauren and Camila have had a quite secretive and brief relationship before, a relationship where they were more than just friends. That was back in the days where they used to do the interviews and live video chats in their X Factor days before the delusional manips were made and the erotic fan fictions.

"Do you really think that now that we are in the peak of our careers is the perfect timing to go and make things official with Camila?" Lauren asked sarcastically, "just imagine how the media would react to this?"

Dinah didn't say anything.

"Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello now dating? Is this to promote their upcoming possible new singles or possibly an album? Or is this just a show to boost up the group's fame?" Lauren imitated the possible headlines that would come out after seeing her and Camila coming out to the public.

Dinah still didn't say anything and just shrugged her shoulders at Lauren.

Silence.

"Exactly, just like what I thought." Lauren scoffed before Camila walked in their hotel room.

"What are you guys doing?" The younger girl asked, flopping down on the bed next to Dinah.

"Camren shippers have gone wild." Dinah stated, "again." She then added.

"They think Camren is official after that night out." Lauren rolled her eyes at the thought.

"No actually I think they should go official, the Camren shippers made comments saying that you guys are the hot drunk couple." Dinah corrected Lauren.

Camila smirked at Lauren and then to Dinah before letting out a a small chuckle out loud.

"What's so funny?" Lauren asked after the brief silence and Camila's little chuckles.

"I kinda like the idea of Camren coming out together." Camila nodded her head and shifted her attention over to Lauren who still has her eyebrows knitted together out of anger and frustration.

"Yeah..." Lauren trailed off, "no." She then added firmly.

"What?" Camila asked surprised, "why not?" She pressed on.

"You know our parents, they wouldn't approve such nonsense like this plus I'm not gay." Lauren explained, waving her hands up around in the air.

"Keep telling yourself that Lo." Dinah scoffed.

Lauren rolled her eyes at Dinah and sat down on the bed.

"Well if they both truly care about our happiness then they should all be willing to support our decisions and our choices, am I right?" Camila asked.

"Point taken but still if ever I'm just not gay that's it." Lauren pressed on, "I got nothing against same sex relationships it's just that I'm not one of them." She added.

"Lauren please..." Dinah scoffed, "I've seen you two have your moments together, you could at least say that you're into Camila that way." Dinah added.

"Dinah." Camila groaned.

"Nah that's it, I'm just not into it." Lauren held out her hands in front of her.

"Come on Lauren, it's now or never." Dinah stood up from her position in order to leave her friends alone together. "So think about what you're gonna say because in the end you might regret the decision that you will make." Dinah quirked up an eyebrow at Lauren and left the room.

"So?" Camila asked after Dinah have finally shut the door close, "what do you say Jauregui? Are we gonna go official or not?"

There was another silence in the room, this time it was both awkward but comfortable at the same time.

Lauren still didn't say anything in response to Camila's question.

Camila stood up from the bed and fixed her top and quickly running her fingers through her hair. She then walked up to the table where a bouquet of flowers were laid out from the night out. Camila then took out a stem of the red rose and stood in front of Lauren.

"Lauren Michelle Jauregui..." Camila trailed off, will you please be my girlfriend?" She asked and handing the rose over to Lauren.

Lauren couldn't fight the smile from appearing on her face and took the rose from Camila.

"Yes, I would love that." Lauren smiled and placed a soft kiss on Camila's lips, grabbing her waist tightly with one hand and cupping her face with the other.
