One night, it all started on that one night. To Lauren it was nothing but a silly mistake and it meant nothing but Camila on the other hand believes that Lauren didn't lure her into something that meant nothing.
It was the following day of one of the wildest night that they ever had. Camila woke up to the pounding pain in her head, that confidence that Camila had last night when it came to taking down an uncountable amount of shots immediately turned into one of her biggest regrets that morning.
"Oh fuck." She cursed to herself as she sits up on the bed and rubs her temple with the heel of her hand.
The duvet that's been covering her body, slid down to her waist and that's when she realised that she was naked in bed and her hair was in a mess.
She looked at her body confused as to why she was stripped out of her clothes and then she looks on her left side to see Lauren still asleep next to her.
"Holy shit." She cursed and her eyes widened at the realisation of what might have happened.
Lauren soon started to awake and shuffles around on the bed making different groaning sounds.
"My fucking head hurts." Lauren mumbles on her pillow as Camila sits quietly next to her, hoping that Lauren wouldn't notice her there.
"What the fuck did I drink last night." Lauren sits up with her head still down and her hair covering her face entirely. "Holy shit, I'm so fucked." She the runs her fingers through her hair and lifts her head up to rub her eyes with the back of her hands.
Camila is still there sitting quietly and just watching Lauren without making any move or sound that will make the older one look in her direction.
"What the fuck?" Lauren asked herself confused as she looks down on her bare body, "where are my clothes?" She the looks around the room and that's when she realises that Camila was there sitting next to her on the bed just staring at Lauren with a really scared look on her face.
"Did we just?" Lauren asked Camila as soon as she realises that the younger one is too naked on the bed.
Camila nodded her head slowly as she waits on how Lauren would respond.
"Fuck." Lauren cursed loudly and stood up to retrieve her clothes from the floor before running to the bathroom and locking herself in there.
"Yep, friendship officially ruined." Camila whispered to herself.
A few minutes later, Lauren comes out from the bathroom and sits down on the armchair as she puts her shoes on.
Camila just stared at her intently, waiting for the older one to say something, just something.
But it was just silent in the room, Camila swears that she could hear her heart beat at that moment.
Camila took a deep breath as Lauren finishes her laces and makes a move to stand up.
"I have aspirins." Camila said and waited for Lauren to look up in her direction.
Lauren stayed put and holds her head in her hands as her headache worsens.
"Here." Camila takes out two pills from the packaging and holds the bed sheet tighter against her chest to somewhat cover her front before walking up to Lauren.
Lauren takes the pills but still avoids Camila's gaze as she stands up to get a glass of water for herself.
Camila stood there watching Lauren as she takes the aspirin and stare blankly into space.
"I have my sunglasses on the bedside table, you can use it if you need it." Camila offered.
"You do know that just because that happened last night that doesn't mean that we're technically together right?" Lauren asked Camila without looking in her direction.
Camila's eyebrows knits together in confusion.
"Even if you started it?" Camila asked Lauren.
"Camila, it meant nothing okay?" Lauren repeated and turned around to face the younger one who seems to be upset at what's happening at that moment.
"Lauren stop denying that you don't feel anything between us two, for god's sake this tension between us two has been going on for years." Camila started to raise her voice. "You go and fucking act like it was something you wanted within the first couple of years then go out and pretend I'm fucking invisible only to go back and fucking acting like you didn't do shit." She added as her voice started to shake at that moment.
"For fuck sakes Camila are you that blind to not see how everyone reacts every time we interact with each other? They fucking go insane!" Lauren screamed.
"You are the most private person I know Lauren, how come even though we have been so careful about whatever is going on between us two you still find a way to deny it? Are you that embarrassed to be with a girl?" Camila asked as her tears fall down on her cheeks.
"Because there is nothing going on between us Camila, why can't you just accept that?" Lauren yelled, still trying to make her point.
Camila didn't say anything and shook her head instead.
"You're a liar Lauren." Camila scoffed as she wipes her tears with the back of her hand.
"Oh I'm a liar?" Lauren chuckled and raised her eyebrow at Camila.
"You're in denial."
"Come on bring it Camila, what else do you see in me?" Lauren pointed at Camila through gritted teeth.
"And you can't face the fact that you..." Camila started but stopped in mid sentence.
"I'm a what Camila? Come on, I'm a what?" Lauren challenged Camila as she walks up closer to the younger one with the glass still in her hand.
Camila swallowed hard as her emotions build up in the back of her throat.
"Say it Camila." Lauren told Camila as they were just inches apart. "Fucking say it!" Lauren screamed as she throws the glass on the on the wall, shattering them into pieces.
Camila closes her eyes and moves to her side to avoid getting hit with the flying broken glass pieces.
Lauren shook her head when Camila didn't say anything and started to walk away from the younger one.
"That you love me." Camila finally spoke.
Lauren stopped in her tracks and turned around slowly to look back at Camila.
