"What are you gonna do? Fire me?" Lauren spat, she then wiped her moistened eyes with the back of her hand to try and rid of the tears that are about to fall.

It has now come to a point where Lauren has had enough of it all. She had enough of everything, the way that they manipulated her, the way that they treated her and everyone else.

She stormed out of the office and gotten into her car. There she broke down in tears, she started hitting the wheel with her clenched fists.

A soft knock on the window then interrupted her. She took in a lungful of air, sniffling a little and looked at herself first in the mirror before opening the window with a touch of a button on the side of her seat.

Camila's face appeared on the other side of it. No expression written on her face.

Lauren unlocked the door and the younger one descended on the passenger seat reflexively.

"Don't cry." Camila whispered and wiped the tear tracks on Lauren's face with the pad of her thumb.

"I'm sorry." Lauren cried.

She then buried her face on Camila's chest crying her eyes out.

They stayed like that for what felt like forever, Camila rubbing Lauren's back, running her fingers through her hair to somehow sooth the older girl in her arms.

Camila continued on saying things that will hopefully make Lauren feel better, even for just a bit. She hoped.

Once Lauren have finally calmed down, she lifted her gaze up to meet Camila's chocolate orbs. Her eyes puffy. Red. Her vision still blurry as she tries to clear up her vision to look at Camila properly.

For a few moments, none of them said anything. Camila didn't even question why Lauren was crying. She didn't bother. All she wanted was to make sure that the older girl is now in a more better and capable state than earlier.

Camila swapped seats with Lauren and drove the older one back to her apartment, accompanying her throughout the whole night.

They barely exchanged words between the two of them.

Lauren kept her gaze down and low on the floor, even while eating. Camila made sure that Lauren had something in her stomach other than the feeling of devastation.

"Thank you." Lauren mumbled under her breath.

Camila heard her clearly, even with the noise of the television playing the back.

"What for?" Camila asked.

"Everything."

Lauren finally lifted her gaze up from the floor and met with Camila's.

The sadness written in her eyes, Camila can now finally see them clearly. This made her sick to the stomach. Seeing the older one in that state made her furious inside, she wanted to do something, anything. She would risk it all for Lauren to never have to ever feel like that ever again.

Camila didn't say anything, she smiled sadly though.

Lauren smiled back weakly, it wasn't enough to say that she's finally feeling a little better after her broke down in the car but Camila would take it rather than nothing.

Lauren looked at Camila in the eyes deeply and the younger one getting lost in the emerald ones in front of her her.

Camila hungrily licked her lips to moisten them up a little while looking at Lauren's pink ones.

Lauren couldn't help but reciprocate what Camila just did.

Soon Camila found herself connected with Lauren's lips. She could taste the older girl's desperation for love, for care, for everything.

Lauren is kissing back, she never hesitated to kiss back. She wanted do.

Does that mean that they feel the same way about each other?

Camila wanted to break their connection, even just for a while, to ask the simple question but Lauren won't let her break free.

She then felt Lauren's hand grasping the hair on the back of her neck while the other is travelling down on her side.

Camila liked it. No, Camila loved it.

Soon they found themselves on top of on another. Still kissing. Still invading each other's mouth and getting familiar with them.

That felt like an eternity, well that's what Camila thought. They finally broke their connection and now Camila finally has the chance the ask her burning question.

Camila opened her eyes only be greeted with the intense green ones in front of her. They're dilated, her lips swollen from the amount of kissing that they have done.

"I've always loved you Lauren, always." Camila whispered.

Lauren averted her gaze from Camila and slowly got off from straddling the younger one on the couch.

Still nothing.

Lauren sat down on the couch quietly, avoiding Camila's piercing eyes that's burning a hole on the side of Lauren's head.

"Say something." Camila's voice broke and now she's the one who's in the verge of breaking down. "Anything." Camila begged.

Lauren lifted her gaze up, finally and met Camila's desperate ones.

They're now glistening from the tears that Camila has been holding back.

"I've..." Lauren started but stopped as a tear managed to escape Camila's eye.

She wiped it the the pad of her thumb.

Now the roles have reversed, Lauren's now the one comforting Camila.

"Don't cry." Lauren whispered and smiled sadly.

She wrapped her arms around Camila's torso, hugging her tightly, for assurance.

"I've always loved you back. Always." Lauren's soothing voice echoed inside Camila's ear.

In fact it echoed in the apartment.

Both of them couldn't help themselves but play what each other had just said over and over and over again throughout the entire night.
