ADDISON

I rush up the hill and enter the restaurant right on time. I am meeting Scarlett for brunch.

We love brunch; we gossip and update each other on our lives, we eat great food and drink orange juices because we are on the clock. Or only her actually, the match today is not until noon.

"Hey."

"Finally." She says while giving me a hug.

"Oh, come on. I am on time."

"That means late, Addie."

We take our seats and start looking at the menu. I bet Scar will want to share the family pancake dish.

"Let's share the pancakes. The family one."

I smile at her. I love this woman, really I do.

"Yes, please."

We put our order in and start updating each other.

She tells me about the groundbreaking surgery she was on, and how she is building a great reputation in pediatrics. It is her first year as attending, but I know she is already one of the best in the hospital. Scarlett thinks she has to work twice as hard as everybody there.

She wants to prove how good she is, and not just be the daughter of the legendary Dr.Moore. She's an amazing surgeon and it has nothing to do with her dad, I just wish she could believe that too.

I told her about my medical staff and the team. I like the guys from the team, they might seem like scary giants, but most of them are like...teddy bears. I really like them and their jokes.

I have only met a couple of them until Dickish Diaz showed up in my office.

After we ate I found her staring at me. This is weird, "What?"

"What? Really? Are you going to make me ask?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Ummm... I don't know, maybe the hot, tormented volleyball superstar you are living with. How is that going?"

"He's not tormented. Maybe. Look, it's been...normal."

"Normal? I got sixty texts from you cursing his name after you met him, then another seventy about how good of a cook he is, how hot his forearms are, and how much you want to jump his bones. You call that normal?"

I opened my mouth in shock, "I never said that last part. I told you how he is actually a pretty decent guy. How he started opening up to me."

"No, I only remember that you quite enjoyed having dinner with him and that you want to shag him."

"God, why don't you say sex like normal people."

"I'm not normal, love. You know that. You want to bonk him, do the old in out, get your rocks off with him. You want to get nasty with him, admit it!"

"Shhh! We are definitely not coming to this restaurant ever again." I give her a warning look, "And no, I don't want to...do any of that with him. I am his doctor. We can't do that. I can't do that with a patient."

"Doesn't matter. You still want to screw him. Ride him. Ohhh...I bet he has a gigantic cock!"

"Shut up." I roll my eyes and start collecting my bag. "God...you're awful. You kiss your dad with that mouth?"

"Did you hear my dad talk before, Addie? I learned all that from him."

"Yeah I forgot Mr Moore is worse than you. I have to go, I need to prepare with the team for the match."

"The match...Riiight." She drags it out with a knowing smile.

"You are insufferable."

"You still love me though."

I sigh and give her a kiss on the cheek, "Unfortunately, I really do. I'll text you after the match."

"No you won't, you have a dinner date with Aaron Diaz." She sings his name and winks at me. That should have been a terrible thing to do, but Scar made it work, even looked hot while doing it.

I roll my eyes and start walking away, "Not a date."

"Remember, if the sex is consensual, then it's not wrong. It is just sex. Remember all men are cocks, use them!" she screams from behind me.

Yup, for sure not going back to that restaurant. Ever.
