ADDISON

I open the door to the penthouse. Wow, I'm still getting used to that word.

I hand my bag and start untying my shoes. Oh my god, the smell here is amazing. I smell...shrimps. Oh, please be shrimp tacos!!

The curtains are shut and the lights are dim. I look at the dining table beside me and find fresh violets. I smile at that.

"Diaz?"

Where is that guy? I walk into the kitchen slowly. Maybe he is listening to TS again, I don't want to spook him.

"Por Favor, No! Please!" I hear him shout from the living room. I rush around the kitchen into the room. I find him on the couch, shaking, sweating.

"I don't want to, please!Help."

God, he is having a nightmare. I go to him and hold his face in my hand.

"Aaron." My god, he is so cold. He's shivering sturdily.

"No, no, no please. I don't want to die."

I feel something in my chest crack. He is reliving it.

"Aaron, please listen to me."

He is shaking too hard. He pulls his head away from me and starts breathing faster, shorter breaths.

Looking at him, lost in his nightmare, breaks a piece of my heart. He needs to wake up, he needs to open his eyes.

I remove my jacket, get on top of him and hold him as tight as I can.

"Aaron please. Come back here. Come back to me. Please open your eyes."

"No! Stop! I don't want to open them." His voice breaks at the end of that sentence so does another piece of my heart.

"Do you hear me Diaz, I am Addison. Don't look at him. Look at me. Look at Addison."

"No, not yet! Not yet...por favor!"

What is happening? What is he seeing right now? I want to be with him, I want to go there with him and bring him back.

"I'm right here Aaron. I am right here." I put my hand on his chest and pressed on his heart. "Aaron, please come back here. I am right here."

I keep my body strapped to his tightly. I feel him shake less and his breathing slows a bit.

"It's me Diaz, Addison." My voice is so weak, I don't know when my eyes started watering.

"Come back here so we can have dinner."

"Dinner?"

I look up from his neck and find his golden eyes, not shining like they used too.

"Addison?"

"Yeah, it's me, Diaz." I release a relieved breath and say, "You're back."

"I'm back." He wraps his arms around me and says, "You brought me back."

I feel his arms tighten around me, as if he can't believe I am real. As if I will disappear anytime now.

We stay like this for a while, until his breathing evens out, his hand loosens from around me and I find him sleeping again.

I have treated many people with so much more problems than Aaron, and everytime I wait for this. To see this. When I see the look of peace on their faces and know that they wanted it, I set my mind on them. I never give up on them.

He looks so peaceful. I wish he would stay like that. Maybe that is the reason why I stay laying on him, or it is the reason I told myself, but either way Aaron Diaz deserves some peace. And, I will do everything in my power to give him that.
