Chapter- 19: The Tower of Terror

"Ash Ketchum... Ash Ketchum... the Chosen One... O damned..."
"You shouldn't have existed. You've no destiny. Death is your fate. "
"Death strikes. I'm the end. Accept it. Fear it, run from it... death will come all the same. There's no escape. None at all."
"Embrace death with open arms. Greet it like an old friend. "
"Like your mother did..."
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Ash roared, completely pissed off.
The whispers were driving him mad, and for the first time since he set out... he felt like punching something.
* Flashback *
"Mommy!" cried Ash, as he saw the House on fire.
He ran, ran and ran. Towards the house. A shot rang out through the house. Ash felt terrible. A sense of foreboding gripped him. True to his words, he saw the sight he could never forget in his life.
Standing over his mother, was a man. His mother's body was full of blood- stained holes. The man was holding a gun, and had on a black cloak and long dark hair. The eyes were empty and cold, a shade of unforgiving, harsh silver.
The man threw out a Pokéball, and mounted a black Pokémon outside before living. The sight would haunt Ash for the rest of his life. Samuel Oak burst in and rescued Ash's life.
* Flashback end *
Ash stormed up Lavender Tower with intent to kill someone for doing that. Not the simple pun- killing, actual, vicious killing.
"Who goes there? Show yourself, or there shall be dire consequences for all those involved!" Ash thundered, steel in his voice as he prepared to send out various Pokémon.
And then... it, the phenomenon, began. It was akin to a number of Ghost- Type Pokémon apparating out of thin air... Well, it was. And Ash's face looked kinda similar to Patrick Bateman when surrounded by the police.
And...
A black hole opened up. A portal.
And Ash was shocked by what emerged out of it.
Giratina, the Renegade Lord of the Distortion World, known under the name Lucifer as well. His original name had been Samaela, Son of the Morning. His original prime form was something True Form Giratina could never hope to match. But Samaela rebelled, and was banished. Arceus sent him to the Distortion World, the worst of the Nine Realms.
Giratina had killed King Garchomp, manipulated King Gyrados into betraying the Monarchs, turned the entire Genesect race into fossils, driven the realm of the Mythical Deoxys into near- destruction, split the original Legendary Dragon- Type of Unova, driven the race of Heatran into near- extinction and corrupted Necrozma against Arceus. Not to mention killing six Lugia at once, and casually killing a Mega Rayquaza, as well as driving Marcus into driving Arceus into a deep slumber.
"Well, Ash Ketchum. Have you lost all sense of speech?"
Ash jumped out of the window and called Metagross: "TELEPORT!"
"KILL HIM!"
But Ash was gone. Giratina observed them, watching them go, a red glint in his eyes.
