We spent the rest of the day discussing everything and when I left Shirley went to the hospital to book a DNA test.

"Hello babe, good day?" Dad asked as I walked up to the till where he was standing.
"Yeah, It's been.. well... interesting" I replied.
"What d'you mean?" He asked. I thought I shouldn't tell him about what's happened today, about phil potentially being my biological father because he might tell Shirley not to have the test. you know what he's like, he's so protective, he'll think that I'll get upset by the results.
"Erm.. nothing" I laughed.
"Okay then" he replied and carried on serving the pints.
I walked upstairs, unpacked my bag and walked into mum an dad's room where Oliver lay in his cot, sleeping. I pulled a stool from the corner of the room and sat on it next to his cot. I reached my arm over the cot and stroked Oliver's cheek and sighed. "You have a lot to come to in this family olly" I said, talking to a sleeping baby. I carried on stroking his cheek for a while. "May your life be far less complicated as mine" I added and smiled.
"You alright?" I heard mums voice. I quickly stood up and turned to face the door where she was standing.
"Mum, y-you scared me" I said, holding my chest and she leaned against the door frame.
"How long have you been standing there?" I asked, embarresed.
"Well, I heard everything" she smiled, walking towards me.
"What's happened today, becky?" Mum asked quietly, dad has obviously told her I'm acting a bit weird, and her listening to me talking to olly doesn't help.
"Just the usual" I said and turned my back on her, trailing my finger along the cot.
"Becky, i know when something's not right" mum said and put her hand on my shoulder, turning me around.
"Mum, everything fine, I promise" I said and hugged her.
"Stop worrying, I'm all better from what happened. how can anything be wrong when I've got wonderful parents like you. life couldn't be better." I smiled and mum looked like she was gonna cry. I'm not that happy, but I can't tell mum that. I still get horrid flash backs that make me cry and I still feel weak. I've got a wonderful family but past still hurts. but if it wasn't for mum and dad, I would've probably tried to overdose again.
"Okay darling" she said.
I walked out the room and into the bathroom when I heard someone calling me.
"Becky?!" I heard dad shouting me.
"What?" I shouted back.
"You're wanted" the tone in his voice suggests to me that my visitor is someone he's not keen on or something he's not sure on. I ran downstairs and into the bar and saw dad looking at me confused, next to him was phil.
"Hey" I said, no tone in my voice.
"Can we talk?" Phils deep voice rattled my ears.
"Sure, over there" I said and pointed to an empty table over side the pub.
Dad looked at me concerned as he wondered what was happening. Me and phil sat down by the table.
"So, what you gotta say?" I asked, he looked at me, eyes barely open.
"Just thought we should talk as there's 50 50 chance you're my daughter".
