Adopted pt.2

"Sorry, I don't think it'd be right" I said. I saw the smile drop off Linda's face and the sadness in her eyes. I felt so bad.
"Linda I-" "it's fine" she said shakily and faked a smile. I saw a tear drop down onto the table.
"Why are you crying?" I whispered.
"That day you called me mum. I-It made me realise how much I do think of you as my daughter. When I found out I was pregnant with a girl, I was so happy! I thought we could go shopping and wear matching pink sparkly shoes. don't get me wrong, I love Nancy to pieces but I wanted all of that." Linda said. I sat and thought about it.
"Aslong as it's proper. we need to go to social services and change all of it, mum!" I said. the excitement in her face made me so happy.
"Let's book an appointment now" she squeelled.

A/N
I'm just gonna skip the whole adopting thing as it don't know how it all works. But in the next bit of this chapter, becky has been adopted by them and it's a couple if days later. Oh and to make it more simple, becky refers to Shirley as Shirley, mick as dad, Linda as mum and the people who abused her as Judie and Simon. please keep voting you lovely lot! Xx

Micks POV
It's been a couple of days since we adopted becky. it's suprised me how Linda really wants this to happen, after everything that's happened recently, I didn't think this is what she would really want. we have 5 children now, and she's so happy about that.
I'm very happy about becky becoming our child now and it's quite obvious that Linda's happy. Linda says becky wants it but I'm not quite sure.
"Becky" I call, walking down the hallway towards the kitchen where she was eating.
"Yes" she replied, with a mouth full of chicken.
"Can I have a word? In the living room" I asked.
"Sure"
"Do you know where your mother is?" I asked. "She said she's going out to show Oliver off"
"Oh right well, we need to talk" I said.
"I just want to let you know I love being your dad and so does Linda but I just need to know if you want this aswell" I said.
"C'mon. we've been through this before. I want this 100%" she said. I stared at her. waiting for a proper answer. "Ofcourse I do. but do you?" She added quietly. I've never wanted something so much before, I'm so happy about this.
"Come here" I said and opened my arms. she hugged me and I stroked her hair.
"in offended that you even asked that question. I do aswell, 100%" I said.
"Okay, well I'm going to go outside and see if I can see mum" she said.
I'm so happy everything's working out, not for long though...
