Pokémon: Student Way Of Life

Green

Yellow watched with a smile as she watched (y/n) hold his Rhyhorn's pokeball in his hands. The group had just returned from catching the Pokémon and she could tell the boy was still surprised he had caught it. The sun was just now starting to set. "How am I supposed to tell the difference between this pokeball and Tandemaus' pokeball?" He asked after a moment of silence.

Yellow frowned, not having expected that question. She was always able to sense the Pokémon inside so she wasn't sure how to answer that. "I- maybe you could put stickers on them?" She asked with a shrug.

(Y/n) nodded as he slipped the pokeball back into his coat pocket. "After everything Mr. AZ said I really expected to be trampled before I caught a Rhyhorn"

Yellow nodded as she adjusted her large ponytail which had come out from where she hid it under her hat, an old habit she for some reason she still tended to keep to. "Poor Calem... he'd have been a goner if not for AZ"

"Didn't seem to phase him much" (y/n) shrugged as he fiddled with the pokeball in his pocket. "He's tougher than he looks I suppose"

"Guess so" Yellow nodded as she sighed and glanced around. "I've got to go meet up with Red, see you at training tomorrow?"

"Oh, yeah. Of course" (y/n) nodded, a bit upset, the more he was around people the more he realized that he liked hanging out with people. "I guess I'll get dinner then before the cafeteria closes"

Yellow nodded as she started walking away. "See you tomorrow!" She smiled before turning and running off. "Goodnight!"

"Goodnight" (y/n) replied before walking towards the entrance to the building.

The boy was barely inside when suddenly he was grabbed by the arm. "Play it cool" the girl who grabbed him quickly pulled him around a corner.

"What?" (Y/n) asked before the girl quickly wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a hug.

They stood there for a moment before a couple of campus security guards ran right past them. The girl pulled away a moment later when she was sure they were gone. "Alright, thanks for that guy" she pat his shoulder.

"I have a few questions" was all the boy replied.

"The names Green" Green answered his third question before he could even ask it.

"Ah, Yellow's friend. I'm (y/n)"

"Ah, Yellow's friend" Green parroted his words with a smile. "Mind if we walk and talk? I need to get dinner before they close"

(Y/n) nodded and they started walking. "So first question-"

"What was all that?" Green guessed his question.

"No, that's my second question" (y/n) shook his head. "First is what's in your shirt?"

"Excuse me?" Green asked with a laugh. "Does that line ever work for you?"

"Come on, you just hugged me, they were digging into me the entire time" (y/n) spoke as he shook his head.

"Pokeballs" Green answered as she finished laughing.

"Is that a thing you do regularly?" (Y/n) asked as he gave her a strange look.

"They've come in handy in the past" Green answered with a shrug. "Although in recent years it's become a bit more uncomfortable"

"I would imagine so" (y/n) nodded as they approached the cafeteria. "So now the other question. What was all that about?"

"Ah, well I may have tried to borrow one of Professor Oak's Pokémon... they caught me entering his office"

(Y/n) gave her a surprised look. "Borrow?"

"I was going to return it!" Green argued as she crossed her arms. "It just hurt me to know that poor Alolan Meowth was just laying in there being bored"

"Right" (y/n) rolled his eyes. "If I get in trouble because of you"

"Don't worry!" Green spoke as she spun around and stopped in front of the boy right before they entered the cafeteria. "The fact that you were my accomplice will remain our secret" she smirked as she placed her hand on his chest. "Relax big guy"

He rolled his eyes but Green turned and they started walking once again, entering the cafeteria. "So you're the guy who doesn't have any Pokémon right?"

"Didn't" (y/n) corrected her as he sped up to match her pace. "I do now"

"Well good for you then" they quickly got on line to get some food.

After a few minutes the two were sitting at an empty table with their meals. They ate in silence until Green finally decided to break it. "So your Blue's roommate right?" The boy nodded. "Does he snore? I always expected he would. He's the kind to have an embarrassing secret like that"

"He does not" (y/n) said simply as he finished eating.

"Damn" she frowned. "Guess I shouldn't have bet on that" she spoke before eating some more of her salad. "So... now that you're in my debt-"

"How am I in your debt?" (Y/n) asked quickly, not liking where this seemed to be going.

"I'm keeping the fact that you're my accomplice a secret" Green explained as she ate another forkful of her food. "So now you owe me"

"Why is Yellow friends with you?" (Y/n) asked as he crossed his arms.

"That's a long story. But in the meantime my favor. I need you to slip this into Blue's Pokédex" she slipped a small SIM card looking thing out of her right glove.

"What does it do?" (Y/n) asked as he took the little device.

"It'll copy all the Pokémon information he's collected and send it to my Pokédex. We're racing to complete our Pokédex's and I need an edge if I'm gonna win" Green explained as she watched the boy look over the device.

"Blue is my friend, you're just blackmailing me with info you have no proof of" (y/n) spoke as he put the SIM card on the table. "Why else should I help you?"

Green shrugged. "I'm pretty cute"

(Y/n) rolled his eyes and slipped the card into his pocket. "I'll consider it. You're gonna have to win me over first though"

Green smirked. "I can do that"
