Clubs Part 2

(Y/n) smiled as he sat with Marnie and Chaos once more. The two were fun to watch, a very cute couple. Marnie was just now trying to get the boy to taste a sweet Malasada that she had bought while he wanted her to keep it for herself and enjoy it. Finally Marnie giggled before ripping a piece off and stuffing it into her boyfriend's mouth.

(Y/n) let out a small laugh as he watched Chaos glare at Marnie before chewing a bit of the food. He smiled and once finished chewing spoke. "Yeah that's pretty good"

"Told ya" Marnie use her index fingers to push her lips up into a smile. before looking at (y/n). "You finished eatin'?" The boy nodded. "Excellent. Let's head to the cookin' club" she spoke as she lowered her hands back to her side.

"There are clubs during lunch?" The boy asked with a confused look.

"Indeed" Chaos nodded as he stood up. "Can't fit everything after school, especially if people want to go to many different clubs"

The group took off, talking as they walked. "I can't cook to well... hope I don't burn down the club room" (y/n) spoke.

"It's fine, neither can Chaos" Marnie replied as she offered the boy a comforting smile.

"Hey, I do make a mean Kalosian Toast" he smirked as Marnie turned to look at him.

"That you do Sweetheart" Marnie smiled before turning to look ahead as they kept walking.

Soon enough they had arrived at the cooking club room and walked inside. "Alola!" They were quickly greeted with the traditional Alolan greeting. "Welcome to the cooking club" a green haired girl spoke as she quickly came up to them. "I'm mallow!"

"Chaos, Marnie, and (y/n)" Chaos introduced themselves, pointing to each as he said their names.

"You guys already know how to cook or should I set you up with someone to help?" Mallow asked as she lead the group to an oven which wasn't currently in use.

Marnie glanced at the two boys. "I know a bit but we wouldn't say no to a bit o' help"

"Cool, one second then" Mallow quickly ran off to another group. (Y/n) watched as she quickly helped them before running off to a three almost identical guys.

"This club is really busy" (y/n) spoke as he glanced around.

"The cookin' club is the largest club in the school" Marnie nodded as she also looked around before looking at (y/n). "It's a good place to just hang around and eat with your mates"

"It's open all day too as long as one of the club leaders are here to chaperone. This time of day is just the most busy" Chaos added in.

"Speaking of-" someone began and the group quickly turned to see him. "Never expected to see you here Bud"

(Y/n) smiled as he saw Arven. "Well these two have decided to take me to a bunch of clubs"

"I'm Arven" Arven introduced himself as he looked to the other two. "Mallow asked me to help you all"

"Marnie and Chaos" Marnie introduced them with a small smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you" Arven smiled.

"The pleasure is ours" Chaos replied.

"Shall we get to cooking? Gonna have to do something quick so we can get it done before class resumes" Arven spoke as he glanced at the watch on his wrist. "What do you all feel like making?"

"I could go for some curry" Marnie quickly replied.

At the same time Chaos quickly replied with "Pizza"

The two quickly glanced at each other before looking to (y/n) to break the tie. "Arven is good with sandwhiches" he shrugged as he glanced at the boy.

"-and Bob's your uncle" Arven spoke as he watched (y/n) put the finishing touches on his sandwich. "Perfect"

"Thanks!" (Y/n) smiled as he lifted up the plate. "Looks delicious. How are you two doing?"

Chaos opened the oven for a moment to get another look at his pizza. "Almost done"

Marnie smiled as she ate a spoonful of her curry. "Mine's just 'bout perfect" she nodded. "A bit heavy on the salt"

"Told you so" Arven smirked as he watched (y/n) pick up and take a bite out of his sandwich. "How is it?"

"Perfect!" (Y/n) smiled as he quickly took another bite. "Almost like one of yours" he said as chewed it.

Arven smiled. "Glad it turned out well. If you ever want to make another there should always be enough ingredients here, just make sure Mallow, Cillan, or I know you took so that we can get more"

"I will absolutely take you up on that" the boy replied as Marnie fed Chaos a spoonful of her Curry. "This was more fun that I had expected"

That caused Arven's smile to widen. "I'm glad you see it. It takes effort but cooking can be just as much fun as Pokémon battling"

"Maybe even more so" (y/n) replied, causing Arven to give a surprised look. "I don't think battling is really my thing, I'll still do it, but I don't think it'll be my major here"

Arven nodded, understanding. "Yeah I get it. There are only so many times you can lose before you start getting tired. Though Nemona will try to get you to keep going, to not give up"

(Y/n) nodded, he had already experienced that. "Like I said, I'll still do it. Just won't be my main focus" he took another bite of the sandwich. "Want some?"

"Sure" (y/n) pulled the sandwich in half and gave the untouched half to Arven. "So any idea yet what you'll be majoring in then?"

"I'm thinking about trying the contest coordinator classes next semester" the boy spoke, surprising all three people there. "I like cute Pokémon so I feel like I'd shine in the cuteness contests"

"I'm sure you'd be great at contests" Chaos spoke as he pulled his pizza out of the oven. "Ooh that looks good"
