The Boat Part 5

When (y/n) found Green she was lying in her bikini in a seat perfectly positioned in the sun by the poolside. She was silent for a moment as he walked up to her before opening one eye and looking at the boy. "Hey there mister, you want to tell me something or are you just standing there to block the sun?"

"Wouldn't want you getting melanoma now would we?" (Y/n) asked with a small laugh.

Green smirked and opened her other eye as well. "Well aren't you the white knight" she grabbed a bottle of sunscreen from beside her chair. "But I've already got that covered. So scooch over" she put the bottle back down.

"Whatever you say boss" (y/n) moved so he was now standing at the girls side instead of in front of her as she closed her eyes again. "So... uh..."

Green opened her eyes once more and looks up at the boy. "I've already made my hopes clear" she smiled up at him. "Are you here to break my poor little heart?" She asked with an overly dramatic pouty face. "Because if not there's no reason to be nervous"

"I suppose you did indeed make your intentions clear" the boy spoke as his gaze drifted to the girls lips before moving back up to her eyes.

"I did" Green nodded again. "You're doing great, keep going!" she whispered as she gave him a double thumbs up.

The boy let out a small laugh at that as his nervousness started to fade. He slowly sat down on the deck so that he wasn't towering over the girl and they were almost face to face. "I'm not really sure what to ask here. Asking if you want to go on a date seems weird considering we're on a boat and because of that have nowhere to have a date"

Green reached out and placed her finger across the boys lips to silence him. "Want me to do it?" The boy nodded and Green sat up before looking down at him.

"(Y/n) (l/n)" she gently took his right hand between both of her smaller ones and looked into his eyes. "I like you. Let's hang out together more during this trip than we usually do, kiss a bit, and then start going on some dates once we're back on the land" she leaned down and kissed the boys forehead. "How's that sound?"

The boy smiled widely. "That sounds nice. I'd love to"

"Good" Green ran a hand through the boys hair before laying back down. "How about you pull up a chair and chillax?"

"Chillax?" (Y/n) asked with a laugh as he stood up to get a chair.

Green glanced at the boy before replying. "You're hanging with an older girl, I'm gonna use words like that"

(Y/n) shook his head. "You're two years older than me. Chillax hasn't been used in like twenty years"

"Right, but I like to see you laugh" she smiled as the boy put down another chair beside hers. "Closer" the boy moved it closer. "Atta boy"

He sat on the chair and looked out over the pool before Green reached up and grabbed his shoulder before pulling him so he lay down. "Chillax" she whispered as she looked over at the boy.

"So what do we do? Just lay here?" The boy asked as he looked up at the sky. "Seems kinda boring"

Green rolled her eyes. "You young people, you can never just relax"

"You're two years older than me" (y/n) frowned as he looked over at green.

"Thus I am two years more mature" as if to prove herself incorrect the girl stuck her tongue out at the boy immaturely. "Want me to put sunscreen on for you?"

(Y/n) shook his head. "I can do it" he grabbed the sunscreen bottle which was the only thing separating their chairs.

"I don't mind" Green replied.

"Do you want to do it?" (Y/n) asked as he opened the bottle. "Because I don't mind doing it myself either"

"I do indeed" Green snatched the bottle from the boys hand.

"They're still just lying there" Arven looked out the window and up into the night sky where Silver spoke into his phone from and floated in the air on Green's Jigglypuff.

"Sounds boring" Arven replied a moment later.

"Sounds nice!" Giggled Juliana as she jumped onto Arven's back, causing him to yelp in surprise. "Let's go join them"

Arven shook his head and was about to reply when Silver spoke. "...it's been a while since they moved. Maybe they're dead" Arven laughed quietly as Juliana rolled her eyes and got off her friend. "Oh! Not dead, just asleep. (Y/n) just woke up"

"We have three days on a boat and he spent the second asleep?" Arven asked as he shook his head.

"Asleep with the girl he likes" Juliana corrected him. "I think it was romantic"

"Yeah, about as romantic as the two of us sitting here and spying on them" Arven replied.

"Exactly" Juliana smiled. "Romantic"

Before Arven could respond Silver spoke again. "Now he seems to be realizing Green is asleep still and he doesn't seem sure what to do"

"I mean it's a boat, there aren't bees or anything that could sting her. He could just leave her there" spoke Arven.

"Do you have a single romantic bone in your body?" Juliana asked, sounding genuinely curious. "It's cold at night and that girl is wearing a bikini, the right thing to do would be to carry her back to her room"

"...or he could just wake her up" Silver spoke. "Less creepy"

"It's not creepy, it's romantic" Juliana huffed as she fell backwards onto Arven's bed.

"Yeah he just sat back down. This boy has no clue what he's doing" Silver shook his head.

"Phone" Juliana's phone zipped out of her pocket and floated above her face. "Call (y/n), quietly"

It took a moment but there was a quiet response. "Juliana?"

"Pick up the girl and carry her back to her cabin" Juliana matched the boys tone as Arven and Silver just listened.

"That sounds creepy" (y/n) replied, causing the girl to roll her eyes.

"Look at her, she's gonna freeze out there"

(Y/n) was silent for a moment. "Point taken" he hung up.

He called again a moment later. "How did you know-" he was cut off as Juliana hung up the call.

"There he goes" Silver spoke. "I'm coming back in now, it's even colder up here and I'll lose sight of them once they go back inside anyways"

"Okay" Juliana spoke as she got under the covers of the bed she was on. "I'm gonna head to sleep"

"Wait but that's my bed" Arven didn't get a response other than snoring. "Oh come on, no way you're asleep already" he walked over to the girl and shook her by her shoulder. "Juliana?"
