Pokémon: Student Way Of Life

The Desert

Green sat between the humps of the Camerupt that she had traded for as it made its way through the desert. It wasn't the most comfortable or fast Pokémon to ride but it was the best equipped for this rough terrain.

She glanced to her side and was glad to see that she hadn't fallen behind her boyfriend and his Rhyhorn which were still at their side. "See any cool Pokémon yet?" She asked as she looked around.

"There was a Sandile somewhere behind us" (y/n) replied with a shrug. "Other than that it's been mostly-"

"Gogoat!" Green quickly shouted a she spotted one standing on a hill in the distance. It seemed to have heard her because it ran off a moment later. "Didn't expect to see a grass type out here. Gogoat usually live in mountainous areas"

"There are a lot of sand dunes" (y/n) shrugged. "close enough to mountains"

"Not to a Gogoat" Green replied as she pat her Pokémon before pointing in the direction that the Gogoat had been.

(Y/n) frowned. "You know how hard it is for a Rhyhorn like Geode to turn" he spoke as he stopped his Pokémon.

"Then get off of it and join me up here" Green shrugged in response as her Pokémon turned to go in the direction that had been indicated.

(Y/n) swiftly got off his Pokémon before grabbing his saddlebag and returning Geode to his pokeball. He quickly ran over to Green's side and walked beside her Pokémon. "I don't think there's enough space for me"

Green frowned as she realized he was right, there was only enough space for one of them to sit between the Pokémon's humps. "Right... well at least from there you can hold my hand" the girl offered her hand and the boy quickly held it in his own.

They continued on like that for a couple more minutes. "Mandibuzz" (y/n) pointed out as he noticed the Pokémon flying in big circles high up in the sky.
