"Guess the campaigns have started" (y/n) spoke as he looked at all the posters on the walls as he walked past them before stopping by the water fountain. Each poster endorsed somebody running for student council. He was relieved that the only people he recognized were Juliana and Nemona who were running together, he'd hate to have to choose between them and any of his other friends.

"Decidin' who to vote for?" He turned to see Marnie had arrived. He had been supposed to wait for her and Chaos here so they could check out another club together.

"Already committed to Nemona and Juliana" he pointed to a poster with his friend's faces on it. "You?"

"Gloria all the way" Marnie smiled. "Any idea what club you'd like to check out today?. I was considerin' Skyla's sky battles club"

(Y/n) shrugged. "I'm not really in a battling mood but I'll go if you want"

Marnie frowned. "No, no. How about the shiny hunting club?"

"Have they ever even found a shiny?" (Y/n) asked with a small laugh.

"Alright... how about the art club?"

(Y/n) considered that for a moment before nodding. "Sounds good to me"

"Perfect" Marnie quickly texted Chaos to meet them there before she started walking off, (y/n) following a moment later.

After a couple minutes they arrived in the art room. "Hold still!" Someone quickly called to them and they stopped moving. "That's a great composition! I could paint a picture of you, the visitors to the art club"

The girl quickly took a picture before motioning that they could move again. "Guess I should introduce myself. I'm Mina, the club leader"

"(Y/n), Marnie" the boy introduced them both"

"Chaos" the third popped up behind them, causing the two to jump and turn to see him. "Couldn't resist" he spoke as Marnie slapped his arm for scaring her.

"Cool" Mina nodded slowly. "So... go do art stuff I suppose. Have fun"

The group entered the room and (y/n) was surprised to see there weren't that many people here. There was a blonde girl, some guy with a beanie, and, most surprisingly, Silver. "Thought more people would be into art"

"Me too" Chaos spoke as he waved to the blonde who in turn waved back. "So what are we doing?"

(Y/n) looked at Silver, he didn't think too much of the boy. Green however did. Maybe he should just quickly say hi? "I think I'd like to try painting something"

"I'll go grab a few canvases" Marnie offered before walking off. Chaos followed her so (y/n) in turn decided to walk over to Silver.

Silver glanced up as if sensing the incoming boy. "Didn't expect to see you again"

(Y/n) smiled. "You kidding? You're gonna have to watch on thursday with the rest of the class after Green and I win the contest as we Battle miss Viola"

Silver smirked. "You know what I meant. I didn't make a great first impression"

(Y/n)'s smile fell and he nodded. "I get it, team rocket is back and all you Kanto and Johto kids are acting differently because of it. Kris said it was more personal for you too"

Silver nodded, not sure how he felt about her just telling people that. "Well I appreciate you coming over here. What are you doing in the art club? Haven't seen you here before"

"A couple friends and I are checking out a few of the clubs" (y/n) replied as he sat on the long table that Silver was sketching on. "What are you doing here? Didn't take you as the art type"

"Helps with my anger" Silver replied simply as he put down his pencil. "...I've been spending significantly more time here recently"

"Understandable" (y/n) nodded as out of the corner of his eye he spotted Marnie and Chaos making their way back, the female holding canvases while the male carried easels. "I'll get out of your hair now"

Silver nodded as he looked back to his drawing, (y/n) also looked at it and noticed that it was a picture of what looked to be a younger Silver and Green. "You guys can set up here if you'd like... it's warmer so the paint drys faster"

(Y/n) smiled. "Thanks, I'll ask them if they want to"

A couple minutes later the group were all seated. Chairs had been turned away from the table that Silver was sitting at so that they could face their easels. (Y/n) was sat between silver and Chaos while Marnie sat on Chaos' other side.

(Y/n) dipped his biggest paint brush in some light blue paint that was on his pallet before spreading the paint all over the top of the canvas, doing his best to paint a sky.

Every once in a while he glanced at a Pokémon which at the same time seemed to be painting a mural on the wall. The Pokémon didn't look to have a trainer, if it did that master wasn't paying it any attention. While the idea of a wild Pokémon in the room confused him it was also good for showing him some painting techniques he'd never even considered.

At some point Silver must have picked up on the boys staring. "Smeargle just walked in here during the second day of classes. They've tried to remove it but it won't go. He's harmless as long as you don't try to make him leave"

(Y/n) nodded slowly before going back to his painting. "Does that happen often around here?" Silver just shrugged.

"There's a wild Klefki living in the Doctor's medicine cabinet right next to his car keys" Chaos added as he added wings to whatever Pokémon he was painting. "Speaking of, I'll be working a bit more, so won't be able to go club hopping anymore for a while"

Marnie frowned and turned to look at him. "We can take a break for a while, until you're ready again" she glanced at (y/n). "That okay with you?"

The boy nodded. "I need to spend more time training my Pokémon anyways" he placed down his pallet and pulled a pokeball from his pocket. "Right buddy?" There was no response but he was sure the Tandemaus agreed. "I appreciate you taking me to do all this though. It's been a nice distraction from all the problems popping up around here"

Marnie smiled and Chaos nodded before they all got back to their painting.
