Oblivious - Alejandro Vargas x Male Reader

Alejandro and Y/N are extremely close, two peas in a pod. Sometimes three when Rudy comes to bring in the fun. Recently as in the last couple months, Alejandro realized something. He had feelings for his best friend and Sergeant, Y/N. After figuring everything out and talking with Rudy, he decided to be a bit more let's say flirtatious.  He'd address Y/N as Cariño and Guapito if not most all of the time. Calling him handsome, which is honestly the full blown truth. Like damn bitch, you are fine as hell. Alejandro started to be more touchy as well. He was a touchy close contact person before this, but Jesus H Christ it got worse. His arm was around Y/N's shoulder all of the time, or if he was daring enough he'd put his arm around Y/N's waist.

Y/N was pretty much oblivious to anything. He was smart sure, but he wasn't that good on reading things like this. Like he just smiled dumbly at the time someone flirted with him in an elevator once. Alejandro was a bit confused too. Y/N didn't say anything about the recent advances but at least he didn't push him away. Unless he was uncomfortable with it and didn't know what to do. So Alejandro stopped and put a bit of distance between them.

Y/N was even more confused and a bit sad that Alejandro wasn't close with him anymore. He went to his other close and trusted Rudy for advice. Rudy was sitting down watching television in the common area and Y/N sat down next to him. "Hey Y/N! How are you doing, my brother?" He patted him on the back, a bit too hard on accident. "I think Alejandro hates me. Do you know if he does or not?" Y/N asked him. And Rudy's upbeat mood turned honestly an angry mother like demeanor. "Estas hablando en serio?" Rudy asked and Y/N nodded, noticing Rudy's change of attitude. "Cuán inconsciente puedes ser?" Rudy puts his hands on his hips. "He likes you, you oblivious dumbass." He adds, being a bit quieter. "Oh shit, lo siento. I gotta go." Y/N stands up and leaves.

Y/N knocks at the door to Alejandro's quarters. "Come in." He says through the door and Y/N lets himself in. "You need something Y/N?" Alejandro spins his desk chair around to face him. "Yeah. It's super important." Y/N's nervousness and embarrassment grew, "I know you like me." Alejandro was completely surprised, "Wait. You didn't know the whole time?" His voice raised a little and he stood up from his chair. "Yeah I guess." Y/N was brewing more embarrassing, what did he mean the whole time?? The cogs or more like hamster wheel was turning and doing overtime in his head. "God, you really are a dumbass. But I like you regardless." Alejandro sighed. "Do you like me too. And not in a friendly way in a romantic way." He asked. "I like you. In a romantic way." Y/N said. "Oh thank god. I was really scared Y/N." He breathed a sigh of relief and hugged Y/N. "Call me Guapito again, I like it." Y/N hugged Alejandro back and kissed him on the head. "Okay Guapito." Alejandro nuzzled into Y/N's chest. Neither of them wanted this to end or to let go of eachother.
