Getting Close - John Price x Gender Neutral Reader

Ever since he read your case file, he knew he had to have you. But ever since you got recruited into the 141 and started to assimilate, you were just so cold. Never smiling, the closest thing to emotion was the occasional short chuckle at a shitty joke. It was cute sure, but it wasn't enough for Price. That's for sure. He wanted, needed you to open up to him.

After weeks of sabotage, the occasional murder of a rookie no one really gives a shit about, getting to know you and hanging out. You and Price started dating. But you were still cold. The neutral look on your face always there. But hey at least you had a look of softness and warmth in your eyes, that should count for something right?

Coming back from a long exhausting mission and an even longer return, you dragged yourself to Price's office. He was surprised, "Y/N. Welcome back, I didn't know you'd be back this earlier." Price did his best to hide his excitement, covering his mouth with his hand to hide his smile. "Yeah, got shit done." Y/N walked over behind Price and draped their arms around him.

"I missed you." Y/N mumbled into his shoulder, smelling the cigar smoke and cologne. Price was surprised at your actions. But he was extremely happy, though he hid it well. "Missed you too sunshine." A dusty rose colored his cheeks and he smiled his signature smile. He was happy you were safe and that you finally decided to be warm and cuddly with him, which will never ever end. Not when he's with you.
