Parental Headcanons - Simon Petrikov and Winter King (platonic)

Simon Petrikov
❤︎ You were the kid he found in the wreckage of the city. Scared and alone, hiding in an alley you temporarily called home. As you were going through your backpack for a bottle of water, a voice was to be heard.
❤︎ "Hello?" The man approached, he looked unusual. Blue skin and a pointy long nose. "I'm Simon, I mean no harm." He puts his hands up. You turned around and you faced eachother.
❤︎ "You're just a kid.." Simon gasped. "Are you all alone? Where's your parents." He asked. "Gone. I'm all alone.." You said while trying not to cry. "You can stay with me if you'd like. I promise to protect you."
❤︎ You and Simon roamed the wasteland, Simon remenicing about the city's former glory. "That's one of my favorite restaurants over there." He pointed to a seafood restaurant in disrepair. They kept on walking and Simon stopped. He walked over to a toy store window and picked out a plushie. "Here. You should have this." He handed you the plushie. "Wow! Thanks Simon!" You hugged it and you two kept walking.

Winter King
❆ He failed once before, but he'll never do it again. Recreating you with ice, probably wasn't the moral thing to do. But he couldn't handle grief well. You were like his kid, he didn't know what else to do.
❆ Winter King does everything he can possibly do to make you happy. Creating friends out of ice such as penguins or another ice scout for you to hangout with when he's too busy.
❆ You were the reason he created the menagerie. One day you walked up to him, a book in your hands. "Simon! Look! Do you think you could make animals?" You showed him a book filled with drawings of animals. "Okay, let's do it!"
❆ You watched in awe as Winter King made animals of all types out of snow. Your favorites being the tiger. You wanted to help too, so you started to make some animals out of snow on the ground. Your crude bear snowman being the crown jewel of the menagerie.
