I think that's it...ANYWAY! You and Ed are going to be the same age. I know previously you could be your own age but I decided to change it (but you can use your own age if you want)

(Y/N)'s POV

It was a rainy night in central, it was cold, dark and quiet. There were a few people in the streets, but there wasn't a lot for them to notice me. I was 8 years old at the time, and I was just coming back from the store, carrying special ingredients including salt, lime, and the gallon of water I got from the fountain a few hours back. (No margaritas here sweetheart)

I quickly made my way through into the alley way of a restaurant I lived next door to. Somewhere down between the brick walls was a neatly built, yet small hut. I carefully opened the blanket...er tart...uh you get the picture and walked in.

"I'm home, Jane!" I shouted.

In the hut sat a young girl,  known as Jane my best friend. She turned her head and looked at me with her gentle, green eyes. Her slightly pale lips curved into a smile. Her light brown hair carefully hung over her shoulder with an elastic wrapped around the half part of her hair.

"Welcome Home, (Y/N)!" She says, happily.

I quickly drop my things near the entrance and give her a big hug. As I break the hug, her mouth is in her arm, as she lets out a big cough. It sounded really bad.

"Are you okay?" I asked with concern.

She looks over at me, and gives me recurring smile, as she says "I'm fine, it's just a little cold as all."

I knew she was lying, she's been like this for 5 weeks, and it only seemed to be getting worse. She kept brushing it off as nothing, and being the naive child I was, I believed her anyway.

"I got the final ingredients we need!" I told her, excitedly.

"That's great! after 5 months of learning, we can finally bring Daxton back!" She said, excitedly as well.

"Yeah, I'm finally going to see Big Brother again!" I danced around with glee.

About two or three years ago, I lost my brother to a car accident....literally. His death was an accident...it really should've been me who died. But my brother got hit instead....even to this day, I still blame myself. He had some much ahead of him.

Jane helped me take our supplies and we made our way to the deeper part of the alley.

We drew the circle, making sure every line was perfectly symmetrical (Totally not a Death the Kid reference :P). We then took out a medium sized plastic container and placed all of the ingredients inside. Jane pulled out a knife from her cardigan pocket and carefully sliced my finger. I winced from the pain, but held a brave look on my face. I hovered my finger over the container, watching my blood drip one by one. Jane quickly wrapped my finger in a bandage, giving my finger a small kiss just like my brother used to do when I got hurt. Kind of corny, but it's true. Jane and I got into our positions in front of the circle.

"Are you ready?" Jane asked, I nodded with a nervous look on my face, but I nodded in agreement. Jane's smile turns into a frown as she puts her hand on my shoulder.
