Ed's P.O.V
"If only I could get you a better arm...."
The Same sentence rang in my head over and over again. Is (Y/N)'s arm......? There's no way that she has a fake limb! She would've told us if she did, wouldn't she?.....Well, I mean sure, we are hiding the fact that I have an automail leg and arm and that Al is hollow. But, (Y/N) seemed very honest. So why would she.....?
"Brother?" I snapped out of my thoughts, as I felt the cold texture of snow rushing past my face. After (Y/N) collapsed, we stayed with her for a while. But then, we decided to take the girls back outside to play. I look up to see Al, with his hand on my shoulder.
"I'm okay, Al..." I said, giving him a reasurring smile. I look over to see Blair and Nina, running towards us on Alexander's back....oh boy.....
"Big Brother, we bored" Nina said, getting off Alexander. Blair following behind her.
"Can you do that magic thing that (Y/N) does?" Blair asked with excitement. I'm guessing when they say Magic, they mean Alchemy.
"Yeah!" I exclaim. I start to draw a transmutation circle onto the snow, making sure every detail was perfect.
"Watch this!" I say to the young girls as I clap my hands and place them on the ground. Blue sparks danced around me, as I transmuted two flower crowns for the both of them. The little girl eyes lit up in amazement, as I placed each crown on their heads.
"Big brother made magic flowers!" Nina said, twirling around with Blair. I smiled at the sight. The two have really grown fond of each other.
"Decent work" I turned around to see Hughes, watching us by the fence.
"Major Hughes!" I shouted
"What are you doing here, sir?" Alphonse asked.
"I came for you, Ed. Someones gotta keep you from studying on your birthday, right?" Hughes asked.
Blair and Nina stared at me in awe, I didn't even tell anyone about my birthday so how the hell did he find out?
"Big brother has a birthday?" Blair asked. Al patted her head "That's right, it's today!"
"How did you know that? I didn't tell anyone yet..." Let alone I didn't want such a big deal made out of it.
"I'm in the investigations department. I wouldn't make much of a Major if I couldn't manage that, now would I?" I sweatdropped.
I looked over to see Blair and Nina sad expressions written acrossed their faces.
"Don't look sad you two, you're all coming. How can I throw a party and not invite guests?" The girls began to smile and hugged each other. I noticed Hughes had a confused look on his face, as if he was looking for someone.
"Wait a minute, I thought (Y/N) was going to be here to study with you guys. Where is she?" Hughes too?! Does she know the whole military headquarters or what?!
"Big Sissy has fever...she's in her room resting.." Blair said, almost sounding pitiful.
Hughes began to panic "WHAT?! MY DAUGHTER ISN'T FEELING WELL! THIS CERTAINLY WON'T DO! QUICKLY GO AND GET HER! WE CAN TAKE HER BACK TO MY PLACE AND TAKE CARE OF HER!"
"DAUGHTER?!" Al and I shouted. Hughes is (Y/N)'s father?! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT EARLIER?! I turn over to see the front door open. (Y/N) was standing there, rubbing one of her eyes.
"What's going on? Why are you guys yelling?" (Y/N) said softly.
"Big Sissy!" Both girls charged at her, attaching theirselves to her legs. She stepped back a bit, waiting for her mind to process. She then grew a smile, and patted them on the head. She looked up to see Hughes, staring at her in awe.
