A/N: If any of you have gotten the alert, the original chapter 12 was accidentally deleted. So I had to re-write it. I don't remember much from the chapter, so it's going to be a bit shorter. I'm going to skip a few scenes so I can get chapter 13 out faster for you guys (even though it's going to be a sad chapter) Anyways, enjoy the re-write!
(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
"You should take these with you." Roy said, tossing me and Edward our watches. "Careful, they're fragile."
"If they're so fragile, don't you think you shouldn't have thrown them?" I said. Roy just rolled his eyes.
"You know," Edward said "I was picturing a big ceremony with trumpets or something." Edward said.
"Sure, Edward. Congrats, you're a dog of the military now." Roy said. "Oh! Before you go, (Y/N). The fuhrer wanted to make sure you got this." Roy said, handing me a military uniform that was carefully folded in a plastic wrap. I looked down at it, but then I smiled and gave the uniform back to Roy.
"Tell him 'Thanks, but no thanks'. As cozy as those look, I don't think they would suit me. Besides, I figured it wouldn't be fair that Edward gets to be the only one palying dress up, so I bought this." I said, bringing out a small bag with White fabric inside.
Roy scoffed, and looked down at his papers. "Whatever" He said, making me look at him in shock and confusion. "Havoc, take them home."
"Yes sir." Havoc saluted.
*TIME SKIP*
When we got home, I saw Alphonse sitting on the ground with Blair and Nina sitting in his lap. Edward pulled out his pocket watch and showed it off to everyone, making me sweatdrop a bit.
"Check it out!" Edward said. Al, Nina and Blair all stared at it in awe.
"Whoa! Is that the real thing?" Al asked.
'Now, why do I have the feeling something's going to-' My thoughts were interupted when Alexander ran over and stole Edward's watch. Edward looked at the dog in shock and slight anger, now chasing him around the yard.
"Hey! Get back here you stupid mutt! Does that thing have a big tag on it that says Alexander?!" Edward yelled.
'Called it!' I yelled in my head as I giggled. Walking over to the two little girls who ran over to give me a hug.
"Guess he's still Ed." Al said, as he watched him chased Alexander then looked back at me.
"Yep!" I said with a closed eyed smile, patting both of the girl's heads.
"Can we see pretty watch, Sissy?" Blair asked.
"Yeah! Can we? Pwease?" Nina joined in. I snickered, grabbing my watch out of my pocket and bending down to their level.
"Here ya go, just be careful, okay?" I said. The girl's looked at it in awe. Admiring the small silver object.
"So!" I heard Tucker shout, making me turn to him. "To honer Edward and (Y/N)'s ground breaking acheivement, we're going to have a feast." Tucker said.
"Hooray!" Nina and Blair shouted.
"Are you serious?!" Edward said, grinning like an idiot. Tucker nodded in response.
"This is so thoughtful, Thank you!" I said, bowing respectfully.
"It's no trouble at all." Tucker said, before he could go inside Havoc spoke up.
"Oh! Mr. Tucker! The Liutenant Colonel asked me to pass a message along. Your Assessment Day is coming up. He says he's looking forward to it."
"Yes....I'm sure that he is..." Tucker said, with a small smile planted on his face. Edward, Al and I all stared at him confused.
