Chapter 13: Nina

A/N: This is it.....the chapter where everything comes crashing down. Before you read this, I want everyone to get your "F**K YOU, TUCKER!" 's out first.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

That afternoon, Edward took me to look into the chimera Tucker made two years ago. I already told him what I knew, but he said that there's something deeper into it that he needs to find out.

I decided to wait outside the Library for him, since I was still a bit upset about earlier. Why would Tucker do something like this?...That is if he did it or not....

'What am I saying? Of course he did it! Who else in the house would've burned that picture?! Not me, not Ed or Al and Definitely not Blair!'

I was pushed out of my thoughts when I heard to doors open. I turned around to see Edward, who looked a bit zoned out. I got up and walked over to him.

"Anything?" I asked.

"No. The only way I can access the filed is if I get permission from the brigadier general."

I gasped slightly at this

'I think I know who he's talking about....my father worked with him...'

"I'm telling you, you can't go in! This branch is for military use only!" I looked over to see a man with white hair and dark skin trying to pass the soldier in front of him.

"Stop! If you want access you've got to get a pass!"

"I was told this was the only place to find out!" The man shoved right passed him and the stairs.

"STOP!"

I looked over at the man who was suddenly stopped by Edward.

"What now?!" He said. I flinched at his dark and angry voice. Edward turned to him with a half smile on his face.

"Sorry, pass the test like everyone else." The man kept walking up with Ed still gripping onto his sleeve. Edward tumbled over a bit, ripping off the man's sleeve to reveal a strange tattoo over his whole arm.

The man turned around and gasped. Edward's eyes went wide along with mine. I quickly grabbed onto his coat pulling him up. The man quickly snatched his sleeve from Ed and stormed off.

"Hey! Come Back!" The soldier said, chasing after him. Edward and I watched him as he ran away.

"His arm....what was-" I was interupted by Ed.

"I don't know....." I looked at him then back at the man who disappeared in the streets. I felt Edward's hand go on my shoulder, making me look at him. He was still staring off, but then looked over at me.

"Let's go to our next source..." He said, taking both my shoulders and leading me away from the buliding.

"Umm okay?" I said, following Edward.

*TIME SKIP*

"Look Elicia! Your big brother, Ed and big sister (y/n) are here!~" Hughes sang, making me and Edward sweatdrop.

"Honey, they're trying to tell you something, you're not listening. " Gracia stepped in, taking little baby Elicia from her father. Gracia played with Elicia, making her giggle.

"Hello~" Gracia cooed. "take your time, you know I don't mind holding her. " Elicia looked over at me, stretching her arms out. Gracia laughed as she gave the baby to me.

"Hi, baby girl. do you remember me?" I cooed at her, making her laugh.

Hughes sighed, bending over a bit. "Back to work...you're asking about Tucker's chimera, right?"
