(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

It has been a few hours since we have departed from Liore. The Sun was going down, as the moon was coming out.

I sat next to Ed who was playing some card game with Al, while I was silently reading a book. I glanced over to see Al looking at Ed in shock. Before he was about to re shuffle the cards again, Edward stated that he was bored and that he didn't want to play anymore.

"Bored of what? Winning?!" Al asked. 'More like he's bored of cheating off of you...' I thought as I rolled my eyes.

He might have fooled Al, but he can't fool me. The only reason I know is because it's not hard to spot the cards in sleeves poking through the fabric slightly. That and I'm sitting right next to him.

"It's not about the cards, Al. It's who we have to meet." Edward said, as he grabbed a Joker card from the deck. "Mustang."

After 4 years of working by Mustang's command, Edward still hasn't really settled a bond with Mustang. I could understand why, just a little bit. He's a womanizer that flirts with any woman if he gets the chance to get away from Hawkeye. Also, I constantly hear him talking about miniskirts and it's starting to annoy me.

"You don't want to meet with him?"

"Of course I don't Al! Our best lead on the stone turned out to be fake! All this searching and we've got nothing to show for it."

"But we've done lots of good." Al said

"Good? Good goes on the military report in a side bar for collateral damage."

I sighed, drowning out into my book again. I was tired and couldn't deal with this right now. As I was in the middle of reading, I began to drift off into slumber.

*Dream Flashback*

Daxton - Age 11

(Y/N) - Age 4

Back when I was young, I lived in a small town known as (Town Name). It wasn't very well known, but it was filled with really kind people. Most people who lived there were mostly alchemists, especially for the military. That's where my dad comes in.

Warren (L/N), my father, was an alchemist for the state. They called him 'The Ice Blood Alchemist'. He was assigned this name for his ability of ice alchemy with his own blood. People were in awe as to how it's even possible for him to do so without evening passing out. I never knew why myself, but maybe it was best to just leave it alone.

Even though he was always busy, he still found times to come home and to be with us. He was the perfect dad that any little girl could ask for.

No one's P.O.V.

"Daddy! Daddy!" (Y/N) shouted, running towards her father with a big smile on her face. A tall, broad man stood at the front gate of the fence next to his wife, as he was just pulling out of the hug he was giving her. He bent down to the little girl's level opening his arms out to her with a big smile on his face.

He engulfs her in his arms and spins her around in a circle. (Y/N) laughs in delight before Warren came to a complete stop. His auburn hair, that ended at his neck, was tied back in a low ponytail. His (E/C) eyes shined with happiness.

"Hey, pumpkin! How've you been? Have you been good for Mommy while I was gone?" Warren asked.

"Yes, Daddy! I've been good!" (Y/N) replied, before asking him "Will come and play with me? pleeeassee???"
