(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
'eh...ehh....Ahhhhh!!!'
The sound of high pitched screaming woke me up, as I saw Blair thrashing a bit in her sleep, tangling herself in the sheets. Tears were dripping from her eyes.
I immediately picked her up and sat her on my lap. I rocked ourselves back and forth slowly, while rubbing her back hoping that she would calm down.
"Shhh....hey, it's okay.....it's okay, Blair....."
Her sob were muffled by my baggy T-shirt, as she tries to silence her crying.
"Sissy....I'm scared....keep the scary man away.....keep him away....!"
She was definitely referring to Tucker. I knew that there was no stopping Blair from seeing what no young girl should have to look at.
Nina was dead. Brutally murdered. Who knows who could've done it. I only wish I could've gotten there faster to stop her from being killed.
I figured it may take awhile for her to get some rest, so I decided to sing her a lullaby that my father would sing to me with a music box that he gave me for my birthday. I lost it years ago, but I still remember the beautiful tune.
He never really had any lyrics for it, so I just came up with my own.
(Finding the perfect song for this was super difficult, so bear with me)
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverseAnd the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix youBlair's sobbing began to decease, along with the strong grip on the collar of my shirt. She was starting to relax, but was still holding onto me like a lifeline.
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worthLights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix youBlair was starting to relax more in my hold, but she was still whimpering just a bit. I moved on of my hands up to her head, stroking her hair gently.
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and ILights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix youBlair's sobs were now soft, sleepy puffs. One of her hands gently held onto my shirt, as she layed cradled in my arms. I took a tissue from the end table and carefully cleaned her cheeks off from the tears and then wiped her nose.
I carefully placed her next to me, keeping a secure arm around her. I took in every feature of her face as she slept peacefully. The chubbiness of her cute little cheeks, her button nose, and her tiny little ears. I smiled softly, pecking her forehead before whispering. "Goodnight, little sis..." then drifting off into slumber.
*TIME SKIP*
I looked at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a black, Laci Dress that reached above my knees, with a black cardigan , black knee socks, and black flats. I was holding a ring of flowers.
