(Y/N)'s POV

~morning~

Ed and I finally freed ourselves and went to the hospital to look for Al. Edwards left elbow was cut slightly from that sword Siren formed. He didn't seem bothered by it.

When we turned a corner we saw a door cracked open. Looking at each other we both decided to investigate. We peek through to see Clara inside. She was unbuttoning her shirt inside the darkroom. Squinting my eyes a bit, I saw something that left Ed and I in shock. She had the same tattoo as Siren. No wait! Clara IS Siren!

The tattoo lit up and the flower in front of us was gone (at least that I think happened). Ed and I walked and stared at her. She gasped as she noticed us with slightly angered looks.

"What a surprise." Ed said "The kind nurse is really Siren, or do all the nurses here have tattoos on their chests?"

"I-I don't know what you mean." She responded.

"Bullshit" I thought to myself. She made up some excuse saying she couldn't talk because she was only in here to collect medicine.

"Right. Sure." I said. "Collecting Medicine that you manufacture using alchemy. Now, drop the act you lying fraud!"

She let out a small chuckle, removing the hat on her head.

"Come on now, children. Who's telling lies? I did say I was beautiful under the mask, right little man?"

"This bitch!" I ran up to her, transmuting and ice dagger and holding it to her neck.

"That's hardly the point, you bitch!"

"Brother? Brother bad news!" Al said running in. I turned to look at him then back at Siren. My eyes burning holes into hers. "Is something wrong?"

Edward slammed his hands on the table. "What do you THINK Al?! Look at the nurse you thought was so great! She's Siren! The transmutation circle is proof enough."

"The world isn't black and white like you think." She said, putting a fake look of sadness. "You kids are too young to understand. A lot can happen in a lifetime."

I scoffed at her "Oh please! Like we don't know that already!"

"I understand..." Al whispered. Ed and I looked at him in shock. "I just found out. This hospital is scheduled to be demolished. Clara. You became a thief out of necessity and compassion. You're trying you're trying to save this place aren't you?"

Clara has look of distraught. Is she being serious right now? "Yes. That's right."

I gave her blank look. I wasn't born yesterday. I can see right through her pretty little lies.

"You think I like this? Flinching at every passing patrol? This hospital needs the money for its patience." She said, as a lone tear fell from her eye. "I need it to..."

Edward gasped. "See? I told you see had a heart. Just like mom." Al said. I hate to disagree with Al, but I'm buying her act.

"Mr. Elric!" Someone shouted. It was the officer from earlier "a new message from Siren!" He paused to see Clara fake crying and the three of us looking at him.

"Am I interrupting something? Mr. Elric?"

"No sir." I said, letting the dagger melt between my fingers "We were just leaving."

I walked out of the room without looking at anyone. Ed and Al can't possibly believe she's stealing for the sake of this hospital. She's just a greedy thief and nothing more.

*TIME SKIP*

Ed's POV

The officer didn't have much security this time. He explained to me that he put placed a trap that should catch Siren once and for all. I don't have a good feeling it will work, but it's worth a shot.
