Chapter 24: Liore Part 4

A/N: I'm PRETTY sure this will be the last part to Liore, and if not....then....I guess just keep on reading...On another note, I'm having a writer's block for my OC Story, so it's release might be longer than expected. Anyways, sorry this took so long! Summer School and Band Camp were kind of getting in the way, but hey, education and other school purposes come first right? (plz don't hate me....) ENJOY! :D

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

After Ed and I's little chat with Cornello, we were taken to a cell room and chained to the walls which I might add SUCKS!

My arms were tired and aching and I felt sick to my stomach, since the fact this room smells like it a rat died in here.

I looked up as I heard the door open, revealing Rose holding a tray of food for both me and Ed. She slowly walked towards us and stopped in front of us.

"Great! You came to feed me, and I thought you were mad. Ahhh!" Edward said, opening his mouth wide. I rolled my eyes at his stupidity. Rose breathed in before putting the tray down and running out of the room.

"We hope he's real, Rose." I said, which made her stop running. "We just don't want you to get disappointed..." Edward added. Rose stood there for a couple of seconds before she ran out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Edward sighed, before looking down at the tray and trying to move it closer with his foot.

"Hey, don't get your footprints on my food." I said. Edward gave me an irritated look.

"How the hell do you expect me to give to you, huh?" Edward retorted. Before I could respond, I heard digging coming from the behind the wall. I smirked to myself, this plan is working out perfectly.

No one's P.O.V.

Rose hesitantly opens the door to "Kane's" room, in hopes of getting to talk to him some more. She slowly walks in, hands clutched together at her chest.

"Sorry, Kane. I know you're healing, but I just needed to talk. So much has happened and I'm confused." Rose looked up as she heard shuffling come from the bed.

"R-o-se?" She heard him call out. Her eyes began to water. Before she could walk to towards the bed, she heard the door open behind her. It was Cornello.

"I'm sorry, father. I shouldn't have taken the key without asking! I just needed to see..." Rose trailed off. Cornello just stood there as his smile got bigger. Wind began to pick up in the room. Rose turned around and to her horror, their was a chimera bird on the bed instead of her lover.

"What's wrong, Rose?" Cornello asked "You got your wish. I'm afraid that even with the stone I couldn't forge a human soul. I had to use the souls of these birds. You know they can be quite adept at mimicking the human voice."

Rose's blood grew colder, as the horrifying beast stared at her. Mucus dripping from it's beak.

"You shouldn't have acted against me, Rose. You've fallen out of the Sun God's favor." The stone on his ring flashed, causing the bird chimera to jump out the bed ready to attack.

"Give the REAL Kane my best...." Cornello said, closing the door behind him. Rose backed away towards the door, as the bird pounced at her. She closed her eyes, waiting for death to take her to reunite with her parents and boyfriend. When nothing happened, she looked up to see the bird on the ground and Alphonse towering over it.

"I guess I don't need to tell you it's dangerous here. Come on." Al said, reaching his hand out for her to grab.

Ed's P.O.V.

It was silent throughout the cell. (Y/N) hasn't said anything after Al dug the hole in the wall and put the microphone in place. I looked over at her to see her zoning out. If only I could read her thoughts.
