"All competitors to the stage please."

Ryder's hands rubbed over my shoulders. "Katrina would be very proud."

"She is." I whispered, grabbing his hand and follow everyone onto the stage. "She's going to be even prouder when we win."

"Hello and welcome back to the Ohio Show Choir Sectionals, please remember to watch for the wild turkey's running in the halls, they do have rabies. Now welcome to the stage our panel of Judges, Marshal Marks the owner of Breadstix, Lesley Maple a recovering alcoholic, and Rod Remington host of the 6 o'clock news."

The judges wandered on stage waving at the crowd, but my eyes, they were on the little white envelope in Lesley Maples bony hand. That envelope was the only thing I cared about.

"In third place.....The Dalton Academy Warblers!"

"So, in First place....."

It stopped, time, my heart, everything. I couldn't breath my vision went blurry, I broke out into sweat, it wasn't until Kitty started shaking my shoulders that I could see again. "Scar!?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, what? Did we win?" I asked, holding my forehead, when did I fall on the ground?

"You blacked out, are you sure you're okay?" She asked, grabbing my hand and helping me off the ground.

I nodded, "Of course, I'll be fine. Did we win?"

"Duh." She cackled, grabbing the trophy from Finn and waving it in my face.

"So where did Melody go?" Bianca asked, blowing up some balloons and scattering them across the basement floor. "And does she know we're throwing a party?"

I held up my finger while I tried to finish a balloon. "Yeah, she went out with some girls from Law School, and I asked if we could throw a party. She said yes, if we only invite the Glee Kids. So I invited everybody in Glee, and all the alumni that's in town."

"Sounds good." She smiled, the door upstairs opened a closed.

"Hello?" Ryder called.

"Down stairs!" I shouted, flicking my last balloon away and opening up chip bags. "Bring me down some bowls!"

Ryder stomped down the stairs and placed large plastic bowls in front of me. "Need anything else?" He asked, leaning down and kissing my forehead.

"Nope. We're all good!" I smiled, motioning for him to come closer, while Bianca was in the bathroom I crushed my lips against his and played with his collar.
