"And you promise to call me every night." I dictated. Gripping Ryder's shoulders, and shaking him slightly.

"I promise." He smiled, kissing my forehead and then softly kissing my lips. "I love you."

"I love you." I whispered, the speakers over-head called my flight and my breath hitched. "I really don't want to get on that plane."

"Then don't."

"Ryder you know I have too." I sighed, kissing him again and grabbing my bag. "Only a month and a half left."

"Then the next four years."

"Ryder, we just had the best weekend. Let's not ruin it."

"Fine." He kissed my forehead again, and turned towards the exit.

"Fine."

"So how is Ryder?" Cassandra asked.

I shrugged my shoulders and picked my coffee up. "He's good, but I don't know about us."

"Did you fight?"

"Yes and no. The distance is just starting to creep up."

Cassandra nodded, "Then why don't you go back to L.A. and be with him?"

"What about NYADA? I can't give up on it now, not after everything I had to do to get here." I sighed.

Cassandra rolled her eyes, "I cannot believe you got married at 19."

"I can believe you had a baby at 19 and gave her up for adoption." I shot back, it's really unbelievable that she put me up for adoption.

"Touche." Cassandra held the door open for me and I walked into her apartment. "You have to understand marriage is hard. Not that I would know, I have never been married."

"I knew it was going to be hard, and I know it's not done being hard. I just wish he wouldn't make it worst then it needs to be."

"Do you want my opinion?" She asked, closing the door to her apartment and dropping her things on floor.

"Sure."

"Even if it's not what you wanna hear?"

"Cassandra, when have you ever cared what anyone else thinks?" I rolled my eyes and raided her fridge.

"I don't. I care what you think." Cassandra pushed me away from the fridge and pulled out stuff to make veggie sandwiches. "I think you should drop out of NYADA. Register at UCLA for drama classes or whatever, and work on your music career."

I jumped up on the counter and watched her make me a sandwich. "I can't just leave NYADA!"

She dropped her knife on the table and grabbed my shoulders.

"YES YOU CAN." She shook the shit out of me, "You are 19 years old, go out and do something! You got married, and now you're going to spend the next 5 years away from your husband. Then more time apart when you start to become famous." She waved her hands around and cut the sandwiches in half. "Go live with him, go be 19, go make some sick music and have fun."

"It's not that simple."

"It is that simple!" She screamed, "You are going to regret this decision and be divorced by 21."

"Don't you ever just take a day off?" I sighed, "I'll be a quitter if I leave now."

I swear she was going to rip my head off.

"For the love of god. You are hopeless."

I decided, we had tortured each other enough.

"Are you going to tell me about my dad ever?"

Cassandra rolled her eyes, "I'll tell you about your dad when you quit school and go to LA."

"You know most parents would want their kid to stay in school." I shot back.

She just shrugged her shoulder. "I'm not most parents.
