Hi or Hey?

Christmas was upon us and it was the first Christmas without my mum.

"The tree looks beautiful." Bianca commented, leaning against the door frame with a small box in her hand. "I've gotta get going but I want you to open this before I do."

Bianca was going back to Spain for the Christmas break to visit her family, and Melody's family was coming to spend a few days with us. So we were going to have a packed house, if you think I had a lot of Spanish relative's, you'd be surprised how many German's make up my family.

I grabbed the box from her hands and slowly unwrapped the box. "Bianca, it's beautiful." It was a picture of us at a cheer competition back in Spain, we were all decked out in our uniforms, with out hair curled and black, gold and white face paint. The frame was decorated in the same colors and small enough to fit on the tree. "It's an ornament?"

"Yeah!" She chuckled, pulling the string from the back, "I'm thinking right here?" She suggested, pointing to a spot near the center of the tree.

"It's perfect." I smiled, stepping back and looking at the tree. "I wish you were staying."

Bianca groaned and placed a hand on her suitcase. "Please, so do I. I would much rather stay here then go home and listen to my 30 family members that live all under one roof, talk about how I shamed every single one of them when they kicked me out of school! Estoy tan harto de todos y cada uno de ellos! Me dice cómo vivir mi vida! Que se jodan!(I'm so sick of every single one of them! Telling me how to live my life! Screw them!)"

I chuckled and gave her a quick hug. "Just hurry back, we've got Regionals for both Glee Club and Cheerios. We can't win it without you."

She rolled her eyes and opened the front door. "You could win both those competitions by yourself blindfolded, with both hands tide behind your back, see yeah in about a week, LATER AUNT MELODY!!"

"GOODBYE HONEY!"

"See yeah." I waved. Then she closed the door and was gone. And it was just me and my tree.

I grabbed one strand of tinsel and Kitty grabbed another, then we ran in the opposite direction twirling it around the tree.

[Scarlet:]
Sleigh bells ring
Are you listening
In the lane
Snow is glistening

[Kitty:]
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland

[Jake:]
Gone away, is the bluebird
Here to stay, is a new bird

Jake finished wrapping an empty present and threw it up at Ryder, who placed it under the tree and flicked the pom on my hat.

[Ryder:]
He sings a love song,
As we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland

[Jane:]
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say are you married

[Alistair:]
We'll say No Man
But you can do the job
When you're in town

We all danced around the tree adding decorations and making up fake presents to put under it.

[Spencer:]
Later on
We'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we've made

Finn came into the choir room with a horrendous but beautiful sweater on.

[Finn:]
Sleigh bells ring
