"So it's been decided." I smiled, banging the gavel against the table. "This years Prom theme will be, the classic, Under The Sea."
"I am so excited for this." Bianca cheered, "I've got so many idea's."
Jake nodded, I knew he was nervous about asking Bianca to the Prom, and he hadn't figured out a way to ask her yet.
"Can't you just help me?" he asked. I shook my head and closed my locker. "Please Scar!"
"I have been helping you with everything." I groaned.
Jake sighed, "But everything I've come up with is cheesy and stupid and what if she says no?"
I rolled my eyes again and stopped at the door of my classroom. "Bianca is your girlfriend Jake. The chances of her saying no are very slim." I patted his shoulder. "Whatever you come up with I'm sure it'll be great."
"I'm sure you will, Bianca. Now, is there any other business?" I checked my agenda and there was nothing else on the list. "Anything to add?"
Everybody shook their heads. "Excellent." I smiled, then I hit the gavel against the table and started gather my things.
"Hey Scarlet, I wanted to ask you about storage for the Glee club." Alistair asked, running to catch up with me down the hall. "Since the seasons over we've gotta put all the costumes and stuff away until fall."
I nodded. "Um, Rachel put them all away in a storage locker, after the club ended a few years ago. Finn's probably got the combination for that if you wanna put it all in there." I suggested, pulling my jeep keys out my pocket and walking out into the parking lot. "Let me know after Glee tomorrow if you need help getting it there, we can put it all in my jeep."
"Okay, thanks!" Alistair, waved and ran down the lot to Spencer's awaiting Honda. I smiled as we climbed n and leaned over the seat to kiss his boyfriend.
This year, went by so fast.
I thought I would never be able to forgive Ryder for what happened. I never thought I'd feel happy again after my mums death, but when something makes you happy enough, you've gotta grab it. You've gotta grab it and never let it go. Life's to short to waste time wondering about the future. You just have to go out and face it.

"Bianca, this looks beautiful." I stared at the decoration's in wonder. The table clothes shimmered blue, and little fish tanks were the center pieces for the tables. Blow up animals were hanging from the ceiling, and an ocean view was the backdrop for the photographs.
She shrugged and picked at the large plastic shells that lined the stage, "I even surprised myself."
"We should probably go and get ready." I smiled, "After all, we are the only really competition for Queen."
"By the way, you and Ryder are going down." She laughed, throwing on arm around my shoulders and letting me drag her out to the parking lot.
"You know we did win last year." I commented, firing up the jeep and pulling out of the lot. "If I wasn't such a god friend, we'd be two time champs this year."
Bianca rolled her eyes. "There should a rule about husband and wives running for Prom Court, he's captain of the Football team, you're captain of rugby, cheer leading and you might aswell be captain of the Glee Club, AND class president. This is just unfair."
I laughed at her, and stopped behind a truck. "Can you check my phone for me?" I asked her, pressing down on the gas when the light changed.
"Ryder says be ready for 7:30." She answered. "Now when responding how many kissing emoji's do I use?"
