I was so nervous, I was sweating out of my dress "You need to sit down, and just breathe." Ryder sighed, leaning his head back and groaning.

"I can't breathe, I'm so nervous. I don't think I've ever felt like this." I whispered threw clenched teeth. Pacing back and forth. "They are late. Or are we early?"

I checked the clock on the wall, then Ryder's watch, then his phone, then my phone, then the clock again. The elevator dinged and Bucky Fields rushed in, "Scarlet! The boys will be right up, why don't you bring your family in and we'll wait together."

Bucky held open the door to the board-room and Ryder gently pushed me in, Melody padded in behind. We waited for about 10 minutes before 4 boys walked past the large window and opened the big clear glass door. "Scarlet Angus!" Ashton held out his arms. "Hug me!"

My cheeks flushed and I stood up and gave him a quick hug. Luke, Calum and Michael immediately followed. I sat down next Ryder and grabbed his hand shrugging my shoulders. He just smiled and tapped his foot.

"It's amazing to finally meet you." I started, crossing my legs and tapping my fingers against the arm rest.

They just looked at me for a few seconds. My face heated and I sunk in my seat a little.

"We love you." Calum laughed. My eyes widened and Ryders grip on my hand tightened. "We've googled everything there is to know about you. We've seen your Facebook, your Twitter, your Instagram, every dance competition that's been put on the internet, we've seen all your Glee Club performances."

"And," Michael chuckled. "We also saw the video of you getting flattened in your Rugby Championships. Which you still won. You're fucking wicked."

Melody swallowed rather loudly, but didn't say anything. "I'm glad you enjoyed that, because it hurt like a bitch." They all laughed, which made me feel way less nervous and I was very grateful.

"To put it in short terms, we're very impressed." Luke clarified, sitting forward on his chair and leaning his elbows on his knees. "But we need more."

"What?" I asked. More what?

Ashton got out of his chair and walked around the table, sitting in it and taking my other hand. "You've got one hell of a voice, and you put on a great performance but, we need to hear a song, where you feel something. Where we feel something, like angry, sadness, anything other then happy pop stuff or indie pop hopped up on drugs shit."

"Have you got anything like that?" Bucky asked, picking his phone up, clicking something then putting it back down again.

I did in fact. I had many angry, sad, and depressing Taylor Swift songs about breaking up and wanting to beat the shit out of a wall. I had songs coming out my yin yang, I just never wanted anyone to see them because they came from a really dark place, that's done and over with, I never want to feel like that, but if performing one is going to get me a record deal. I have to take that step.

I shook my head, "I do actually, do you have a guitar I could borrow?"

All four of them got bug goofy grins on their faces, "We do, let's all go down to the studio and you can get in a booth and play it, yeah?"

My nervousness was gone completely. "Absolutely."

"Alright, whenever you're ready Scarlet." Bucky nodded, encouraging me.

I took a deep breath and started strumming the beginning cords.

I finally kept my pride and hailed a cab
Those cuttin' words you said were the last stab
There'll be no tears this time, they've all dried up
No more sweet poison, I already drank that cup
