Ten days passed, me being locked up in the prison of the King. I still didn't know why I was here and now that I'm thinking about it, the actual reason why I'm here is so odd and totally unnecessary. But I shouldn't give my opinion about all this, because Daechwita will kill me in a millisecond.
In the days that I spend here, I became friends with the rat, the only remaining creature here. He- or she, I have litteraly no idea- bit me already a few times. I could sense the first signs of an infection. But it doesn't matter, I'll die anyways.
One time a day, a maid would come here and bring me food. Well, it's supposed to be food I guess. But I think it's the left-over shit from the other prisoners who were put in a lighter punishment.
It was supposed to be soup, but it was just a bowl with water and maybe four vegetables in it. It tasted horrible, like it was toxicated.
There were days that I got nothing, because there wasn't any food left over anymore. One time, I was so thirsty, that I drank my own pee. It's disgusting, but I had no other choice. But now I'm rethinking, maybe it was better for me to not drink that. Reason numbero one, the next day I was so ill that I couldn't even come off my 'bed'.
Reason numbero two, why should I put effort in living? I already accepted the fact that I was gonna be killed one day. I was already imagining how I could possibly be killed. Maybe with a head cutting system? Or poisoning? Or hanging? I had no idea.
They should at least be coming with an original death for me.
A FEW HOURS LATER:
I almost slept, when a guard banged on the bars. 'WAKE UP!' he shouted aggressively. I groaned and slowly lifted my weak body.
This is not a life for a bakers' daughter..
'I SAID WAKE UP, ARE YOU GONNA LISTEN?' The guard shouted again. I scoffed. 'Let me, man. I need to be active right? What are we actually gonna do?' I asked with a grumpy voice. 'The king wants to see you.'
Shit.
'Oh, can you tell my brother and uncle that I love them, then? I mean, I won't get a chance for it anymore, I gues-'
'Shut up, you're not even gonna die, bitch.' The guard told me. I gasped. 'Not? Whyyyy?' I whined a bit, note the sarcasm. 'How am I supposed to know? Now, get up. We need to go. Otherwise the King will kill you, and me too.' He said, gesturing me to come.
He opened the doors and pulled me out. 'Wow, your skin is flaky!' He mumbled. 'Duh. What do you expect from me? To look like a fresh woman that comes straight out of a salon?' I said sarcasticly. 'Wow. Something happened with you over these days!' The guard said.
'I seriously wonder how many times you're gonna say 'wow''. I said. 'Stop, you actually have no right to say something back to me. Wow, you got the nerves!' The guard said. 'Plus one.' I quickly mumbled. I heard the guard gasp in disbelief. 'Wow, you're so bad!' He said. 'Now, shut up and come. Oh, and by the way, don't dare to show this aditude in company from the King.' He added.
I just nodded a bit.
After a few minutes, we finally arrived in front of the too familiar parlor doors. The doors opened, and I immediately looked down. I didn't want to stay in that stupid prison for longer than it already was.
'Enter!' The overfamiliar voice said. I got goosebumbs... I slowly stepped forward until the King halted me. 'Well... Did you enjoy your free stay here? I'll be generous, you don't have to pay!' The King said with an annoying scoffing tone. I had to keep myself in to not roll my eyes or give a reaction.
DAECHWITA POV.:
Idris entered the parlor. First thing that caught my eye was her fragile body.
That's what you get for having such a father.
Oh wait. That doesn't make any sense. I quickly switched to my cold personality and ordered her to come forward. 'Well... Did you enjoy your free stay here? I'll be generous, you don't have to pay.' I said with a scoffing voice.
I could sense that she was very annoyed by my aditude. I internally smirked. She must be a rude girl by now. I mean, to amuse yourself everyday in a cell...
No!- Don't feel pity!
'Well... In these days I've finally decided what to with you.' I said.
IDRIS POV.:
'Well... In these days I've finally decided what to do with you.' the King announced. 'As you're actually not guilty for what your dad did, I'll be mild this time. You'll be working as my maid in the cleaning section.' he said.
I blew my nerves out. I'm saved. I won't die. I probably have to work very hard, but it's better than to go back home. But my brother? And my father? What's gonna happen? Help. My head is a maze right now.
'But I think you want to know what exactly happened, right?' the King suddenly said. I quickly nodded my head. 'Well, I ain't gonna tell you.' He said, I could hear him smirking. THIS BRAT!
I gritted my teeth and nodded again. 'Hoseok! Come here and bring her to miss. Celia and tell her that she is the new maid.' The King shouted. The butler named Hoseok nodded and gestured me to follow him.
I sighed and bowed at the King before I followed the butler. I said nothing on our way. I only thought about the fact that this King Daechwita is capturing people for the most crazy reasons. He must be crazy in his head..
