(Lucy's POV)

I was at the library looking for a good book to read for my book report when I saw the perfect book that brought back many memories. The book is titled The Princess and The Dragon. My mom used to read it to me when I was younger. The story never got old and I always wished it would happen to me. While I was reading and time just flew by. I went to check out the book and left. It was very dark and I was scared I felt something bad might happen. While I was walking a group of drunk guys came and stopped me.

"Hey girl. Wanna come have a little fun?" One of the drunk guys said

"Don't touch me!" I yelled

"Oooo looks like we got a feisty one hear." Said another drunk guy

"We're going to have fun guys." The last one said

Then a mysterious person came in a flash and next thing I knew the 3 guys we're on the floor. I was stunned then I saw pink.

"Natsu...." I cried

"Its ok Lucy I'm here." He said

"H-how di-d you find me?" I stuttered

"I can sense it. If MY Lucy is in trouble I will always come and hunt down those bastards who tried to hurt you." Natsu said triumphantly

I giggled "I love you so much Natsu."

"What was that. I couldn't quite hear you." Natsu teased

"Meanie." I pouted

"Sorry Luce. You're too adorable." He chuckled

With that i kissed him on the cheek " Let's go, you can stay over night."

" Okayyyy~" Natsu said happily

Timeskip

Lucy's apartment

(Natsu POV)

We got to Lucy's apartment and Lucy went to take a shower.

"No peeking." She said

"No promises~" I smirked

With that she went to take her shower. I explored her apartment more and saw a book titled Lucy's Diary. I wanted to read it but I knew it was bad so I started reading it anyway.

Dear Diary,
        I met my crush Natsu again and it has been 5 years. I act like I don't care but actually it's my everything.

I smirked at this entry.

Dear Diary,
      Natsu confessed to me. I said I need more time to think about it and we made a bet. I'm so stupid I'm already in love with him. I want to tell him but I want him to figure it out himself. I really love Natsu

Dear Diary,
       I went to the doctor to get my daily checkups and they said that I have a rear disease that may kill me. But it can be treated and never come back again but they said the doctor who specializes in this treatment lives in Australia. I'm scared. I don't want to die.

I see tear marks on the page. I hold back my tears.

"Luceeee." I mumbled

Right on cue Lucy came out and I threw the book down.

"What we're you reading?" She asked suspiciously

"The book you checked out." I replied bluntly

"Oh." She replied not believing me

"Natsu you should take a shower. I'll cook dinner." Lucy said

" Haiiii! " I replied obediently

Timeskip

After dinner

"Luce can you read me the book you checked out." I asked

"Oki ~"  Lucy smiled

Luce started reading and i immediately loved the story. Finally the princess falls in love with the dragon. Honestly, dragons are not evil or hurt people. Princes are the evil ones. Then i started imaging me as the dragon and Luce as the princess. Luce would look really cute in a princess dress. Then I heard a noise

"Natsu. Natsu. Natsuuuuuuuuu!" It yelled

"What ?!" I jumped

"You we're spacing out." Luce giggled

"Oh." I mumbled

"While I was reading this it reminded of me and you. Like how you saved me today and how the dragon saved the princess from the prince. I know how much you dislike princes. Ever since we were young you said you wanted to be a dragon. It was adorable." Luce said adorably

"Luce then be my princess. I'll protect you because I'm not your knight and shining armor, but I'm a heroic dragon." I smirked

"I love you Natsu." She mumbled

"I will protect you and get you to that  doctor." I whispered

"Hmmm?" She looked at me confused

"Nothing love." I said

And with that we both knocked out.

Sorry I haven't updated i got lazy again. My friend wanted me to update so I did. Haha I will try to think of something to write so the next chappie is quicker. Haha
