Chapter 21

(Natsu POV)

"It's time....... " I said looking in the mirror

I got ready and got the corsage I bought Lucy, hope she likes it.... It has pink flowers with baby white flowers and small light green leaves. ( I didn't write that they bought corsages and rented the limo and stuff in the last chappie cause i got lazy....) I left the house and went to pick up Luce in the limo.

I arrived at Lucy's apartment 20 minutes later and I actually rang the doorbell this time. *gasps*

"Just a minute !" Luce yelled

I waited patiently and knew it was worth it because when Lucy came out I was speechless, stunned, and so much more. Words couldn't even describe how beautiful she looked.

"Helllooooo?" Someone said

"Huh?" I said knocking me out of my trance

"What ya waiting for ? Lets go to prom !!" Luce squealed

I nodded and we locked arms and went to the park for prom pics of course. This part is the most boring if you ask me...

"Oooooo let's take pictures over there!!" Lucy squealed

I chuckled and followed to what she said would be the perfect spot.

3:00 PM

After years of taking pictures we went to go eat. My favorite part of prom !!! I took Lucy to "Le sourire de l'ange". This is a french dessert place that my friend recommended. Luce and I got seated and the menu was at a cheap price and all the food seemed totally worth eating. I saw Luce looking at what the customers around us were ordering and the majority of the customers were ordering the "Angel's Smile". So Luce and I agreed we would order something for ourselves and order the Angel's Smile to share.

"Hi welcome to Le sourire de l'ange ! I'm Ichigo and I will be your waitress today. What can I get for you guys?" Ichigo chan sia cheerfully

"We would like the Angel's Smile ( A strawberry tart) , Strawberry Love ( A strawberry parfait basically) , and Monte Blanc. (A famous chocolate cake thing..) " Lucy said gently

"Right away !" Ichigo chan said

"I know I didn't say this yet but you should know already. You are beautiful, gorgeous, amazing, stunning, and so much more. Even without that awesome dress of you'res you are all of that and my feelings and thoughts will never change." I stated

"Natsu... I don't know what to say..." Lucy blushed

"You don't have to say anything. Let's just enjoy all the times we spend together. But there is one thing I hope you know and will remember." Natsu said

"What is it ?" Lucy questioned

"Tha-." I was cut off when when our food came

"What were you going to say?" Luce asked curiously

"I'll tell you later." I winked

Luce pouted but shrugged it off because the food looked amazing!!

After we finished eating I took Luce to the dance part.

(Lucy POV)

We got to the hotel place where the dance is held and I sort of left Natsu for Levy chan and the others and then we started dancing randomly and talked about where the guys took us and stuff. Then a slow dance came on and us girls sat down because we had no dance partners. Then one by one my friends left me for their dates and soon I was alone. I felt a little embarrassed being the only girl sitting without a guy. I went outside to take a breather and then I saw Natsu sitting on the bench and looking at the skies. I went and sat next to him and attempted to scare him...

"Boo !!" I screamed

He chuckled "Nice try Luce."

I pouted "No fair."

"Why aren't you inside?" Natsu questioned

"Just a little awkward I guess." I said sheepishly

"It's the slow dance isn't it and you don't have a partner." Natsu said

"Yea....." I said awkwardly

"Well how about we slow dance here. Just the two of us." Natsu offered

"Really? You would do that for me?" I said a little too excitedly

"Haha anything for you Luce and don't blame me if I suck." Natsu blushed a little

"Its ok." I smiled

I took his hand and place it at the right spot and when we danced it felt like we were flying through the air. Felt like nobody else was there, I felt like a prince dancing with my prince charming. To put it felt magical and was meant to be. I leaned my head against his chest and I may or may not have teared up a bit..... After a while we stopped and sat on the bench and stared at the stars and it felt like the time Natsu took me on our first date.

"This really is a Celestial Night." I whispered

"The thing I wanted to tell you is....."

CLIFFHANGER !!!!!

I'm sorry for writing a cliffhanger I had to !!!

The tension is real
